RWBY: Welcome to Remnant (Random Haitus)

A Spar Amongst Blades and Blunts Pt. 1

Today starts off in combat-Training Class, Aka: Glynda's Classroom.
There Was A Spar session set up and since I wasn't able to Participate in the last one, I Get some time in the Ringer in this Class-Session, Also gives everyone more Practice.

The Sounds of a Fight Goes throughout the Classroom and i keep watch on the Two contenders, Just Two random Students. They both got Skill, One has a Ranged Melee, Shortsword with a Repeating Blaster on the Hilt facing in the Oposite direction of the Blade, From the looks of it fires 5 millimeter Dust-Bullets. The Other Contender, Has a Battle Axe and Shield And his Quite the Muscle-Built Guy Too, and The Shield can actually Have an Elemental Effect Applied to it, Right now it has Lighting dust equipped. and for the Battle-Axe, it Can Turn into a Single-Firing Rifle.

Swings and Shots are taken, Most are Missed or Dodged, sometimes Blocked.

After a Good While, The One With the short sword Manages to get a couple Shots in, Damaging the Big guy's Aura, But as the Short sword Student goes for a Strike, the other One puts up his Shield and Engages the Elemental effect on his Shield, and unfortantuly, The Guy with the Shortsword Gets Tazed from his sword making contact with the Shield.

Thus, Knocking the Poor Kid out, and the Battle-Axe dude Wins the spar.

and after the Kid gets Helped up and Glynda Announcing the Winner, And with the Kid Going back to his seat, along with the victor.

Glynda Then Explains the Pros and Cons of what the two fighters had, and what advantages they used.

I didn't bother listenin' since I kinda knew what she was talking about way before the Fight started, as the both of them Kinda show'd off their weapons a bit before Fighting.

But then for the Next Spar, i get Called up.

Glynda: "Vaan (Van), Would you like to go Next? I'd figure you'd want to give this a Try being a New Student, and Having your First ever Spar here in Class."

Me: "Well, i was kinda Already figured about askin', but since you did first. yeah, I'll go up. Let me Just get equipped First."
I then reach Below the desk And Grab my Backpack, which is Noticeably Hefty, I unzip some Compartments and it's easily shown that some of my Auxierlly Weapons are in it, My Sword and Sheath are Already on my back, And All i do is grab my Two Sawed offs, and Two Pouches, One empty for Empty Shells, One full of different Elemental Dust Shells.

I Clip on the Two Pouches on my Belt, and Holster The Sawed-Offs on Both sides of my Hip,
And I also did it Quickly as to save time as that would be just a biiiit awkkwaard.

But after I Get my Shotguns Equipped, I then Stand up and walk onto the Sparring Stage.

Glynda: "Alright, Now That your Ready Mr. Marler, i will assign a Sparring Partner to you, as to get the Hang of things-" Me: "Actually, Is it Alright if i can Choose my Spar-Partner?"

this surprised Glynda and some of the Students Slightly,

Glynda(Curious): "Oh? Are, You sure Vaan?"

Me: "Yep. and i already know who i want to fight," I then Look over at a Certain Grey-Haired Individual up on the Higher Seats where the other Students are, and i Point to him.
Me: "I Wanna Fight Him, Mercury- I Heard his name was, Also Heard about how he fought Pyrrah. but he Forfeited. I Wanna See if he Can go upagainst me." I say Smirking Slightly.

Glynda: "Ah, 'Mercury Black.' And Yes, he Has Fought Agaisnt Miss. Nikos, Is it alright if I ask how you Know of this?"
Vaan: "Lunch Gossip, Word Spreads 'Round. Even after a Good while, Plus a couple friends of Mine told me one Time." I look over to Team RWBY, which no-one else notices except for them.
