Aster sat beside her and he swayed himself a bit before he looked at her. "So I went out tonight with Jaden and Jesse, both of them seemed very out of sorts. Both of them even complained calling you a 'dramatic bitch that can't handle herself', which I find rather hard to believe. I want to hear your side of things Serena. What's going on?"

Serena rubbed between her eyes as she let out a sigh. "Those idiots. Okay, I'll give you the factual facts. Let me start off with saying that when I had first agreed to be in that stupid apartment with the two of them it was a written and sign agreement that the two of them would pay one bill of their choice for utilities and two fifty for rent each. Anything else I will cover. I didn't think that was too much to ask."

Aster shook his head. "No, not at all. What bills did they agree to pay?"

"Jaden had the water bill which ranged from eighty to one fifty a month depending on the weather and season. Jesse had the gas bill which was a consistent eighty."

"Okay, so what bills did you pay?"

"Garbage, electric, our phone bill which I had kicked them off from as well as the streaming services that they would use on my TV. Garbage is around fifty, Electric is two eighty and the phone bill for the three of us was two forty."

Aster furrowed his eyebrows concerned. "How much do you pay in rent there?"

"When I lived with them, I paid four fifty."

"That's most of your pay check. And that's not even including getting food is it?"

She shook her head no "I got that stuff too. I always made sure that the fridge, freezer and cabinets were filled with food. To feed both gluttons I had to pick up another job just so I can have the funds to be able to keep afloat."

"Okay so...what made you leave them so angered?"

"I got a termination letter for the water and gas bill plus a warning for an eviction for the apartment. Apparently neither one of them for months haven't been paying the bills. They thought I was paying everything since I have two jobs. They've been blowing off their 1200 dollar check at the bar and restaurant we work at when they get it so they don't have to be obligated to do anything at the house."

"Do they even share what they get?"

She shook her head no. "I didn't even know they were doing that until today when I talked with our manager and the owner of the restaurant. It was the owner who told me what they do with their paychecks."

Aster rubbed between his eyes as he was hearing the factual truth from Serena. "I knew something was wrong with what they had said about you...for fuck sakes those two are trying to turn everyone against you. Listen Serena, I need you to do something for me for your own mental safety."

She raised an eyebrow at him. "What might that be?"

"Delete every social media you have and stay radio silent from our friend group, I will deal with those idiots. Do you have any proof of them being assholes towards you?"

"Yeah actually, let me send you what I have saved on my phone." Serena said before she got her phone from her pocket and she sent him two different pictures that were screen shots of what happened between Jesse, Jaden and her.

Aster looked at what was given to him and looked at her. "What note is Jaden talking about in this?"

"I had written a note saying for them to pay the bills and their part of the rent or I was going home. Cause I had put the note with the termination bills and letter for evection on the door so they'd be able to see it."
