When Tyler had left the meeting room, Aster held his side laughing as he was sitting back in his chair. Seren was more than happy to see the smile let alone that Aster was laughing instead of how he was a month ago. She went up to him and sat on his lap which caught his attention quickly as he hugged her tightly placing his face into her chest. "Thank you so much babe, I couldn't have gone through with that without you."

"I'm aware of that, now I need to go and look up things about that bastards father. Something just isn't adding up and I don't know why I just have this tugging nagging feeling in me right now."

"Yeah sure thing. If you ever need anything just let me know alright?"

She smiled and kissed his cheek softly. "Of course Aster. I'm going to get to work now. You have two more meetings so behave yourself."

"Yes ma'am." He said sarcastically as she got off of him

Hearing his sarcasm she grabbed onto his tie making his blue eyes look into her ruby eyes. "Keep up with that sass sir and see where it takes you tonight." She spoke lowly before she let go of him and went to the office to do her work

while Serena worked on the background check, she came across a live footage of Aster's father being abducted by a car that went to the company that Tyler now managed. She furrowed her eyebrows as she got up. "This doesn't make sense, why did that happen?" She muttered to herself

She messaged Aster letting him know that she was going to step out for a bit she'd be back when she could. Rena then drove herself to the company building before she went in to see there was no secretary at the front. "Well there's problem number one." She muttered before she looked around. 

She soon found a door that led downwards. So she went down the steps with the light from her phone guiding her steps. As she got to the bottom of the steps she saw there was a raven haired male with glasses with dark blue eyes just like Aster had. Her eyes widened seeing the male tied up, she rushed up to him and grabbed her pocket knife from her garter, she cut the male free which freaked the male out. He looked at her confused as she smiled at him. 

"I'm your son's girlfriend, I've been trailing what had happened to you. Your son believes you to be dead and I want to show him that he has nothing to worry about." She said happily

His eyes widened before he took the bound off of his mouth. "My aster is still alive?"

"Alive and well, he's taken over your company. I assist him where I can being his secretary." Serena said placing a hand on her chest

"I'm glad to hear that my son is doing well, and that he has such a smart kind woman like you as his girlfriend."

"You've been down here for a long time. I'm going to call to get you out of here and to get this place shut down."

"Do be careful."

"I'm not afraid of the cowards of this company." She said seriously as she got up 

She turned her light off before she called for the police and an ambulance just so Aster's father would be in good hands, also so he could feel like he wasn't alone anymore. It wasn't long before police came into the building and swatted the place before she shouted for someone to come down to the cellar. Two cops and the EMT's came down, Serena stayed by Aster's father so she wouldn't be known as a threat. The EMT's had taken care of Aster's father as the two cops had taken Serena up to the ground floor where she had written her statement, once she was done she left out and she had a big smile on her face. 

when she had gotten back to the office, she acted like nothing was wrong as she went back to work. When Aster came into the office he looked at her curiously. "so where did you go?"

"I had to confirm something that I saw online with my own eyes, and sure as hell it was confirmed. When the time is right I'll tell you but right now...Tyler and Tyrone aren't ever going to be an issue." She said with a small smile on her face

Aster raised an eyebrow at her. "Okay now you have me curious on what you did Serena."

Serena got up from her desk as she went up to him. "Aster, tell me did you ever see the body of your father or did you just listen to what was told to you at a young age?"

Aster furrowed his eyebrows hearing her question "My father had a close casket funeral, the entire time was nailed shut so I...I never saw the body of my father. Why would you ask me something so sensitive so casually Serena?"

"Just work with me here babe, you wanted to know what I was doing so I'm trying to get you to use your head instead of placing your emotions up front."

He let out a sigh as he went to sit down at his desk, he shut his eyes before he looked at her. "Alright, go on Serena."

"Now another question for you darling, was it the police or was it someone else who had told you about your father?"

"It was someone who I knew to work with my father who told me....wait hold on." Aster said before he was in thought "do you have profiles of Every CEO and Manager that worked with my father's company?"

"I do, and I already sent them to you."

He was quick to go through his emails to find what she gave him before his dark blue eyes widened seeing the face of Tyler's father. He sat back in his chair in utter shock and bewilderment. Serena crossed her arms. "Does any of them look familiar love?"

"Yeah....Tyrone...Tyler's father."

"Now dear, think back to when you had gotten that news from that bastard. You were never able to see your father were you?"

Aster shook his head no "He said it was best that I didn't. He didn't want me to have bad trauma because of the death of my father."

Serena let out a scoff. "Darling, that man is a whole ass liar. and a scheming bastard to boot." She said with her arms crossed

"W-What do you mean by that Serena? Just what happened while I was in the meetings I had for the last two hours?"
