When Serena had showed Aster where she now lived with her brother, Aster made sure to keep the address in his phone before the two of them went inside. When they did Serena spoke up as she took her shoes off. "Hey Milo, I'm back home! Oh, and I brought Aster with me."

It didn't take long for Milo to get out of the sitting room, he gave his sister a small smile. "You were out for a long time sis, is everything alright?"

"Mhm, I just spent the day with him that's all. We were playing a game until about an hour ago when he took me to get dinner at a new place that just recently opened up. Their food is really good and the environment is rather nice too."

"Well I'm glad that you had a good time out." Milo said before he looked at Aster. "So you're the one who called me four days ago, finally good to place a face to the name."

"Same with you, Serena has talked a great deal about you and how good you've been treating her." Aster said as he placed a hand on her shoulder softly

"Seems like both of us are rather protective over her and want the best for her. Serena why don't you go and tell me if the lock I placed on your door is good enough I just finished installing it when you had left out earlier."

Serena nodded her head and she left out before Milo motioned for Aster to go with him to the sitting room. He did and the two males sat down in the room in quiet for a moment before Milo spoke up. "Tell me how aware of you of the nonsense going on with Serena and the family right now?"

"Very aware, I was rather worried about her being here because you are blood to her." Aster stated

"I see, so she has opened up that much to you. She isn't one to open up to people that easily."

"I'm aware of that as well, she isn't one to back down though when she's provoked. I learnt that the hard way before her and I became friends."

"Oh? How did the two of you manage to become friends?"

"It was sophomore year of high school, I had just recently transferred from the town over to here. I ended up being enrolled into the school with Serena being the one to show me around. She barely spoke a word to me but took me to my classes, she didn't pry at all into why I was there or anything. We had lunch together so I questioned her only for her to get rather riled up and tell me off. It was rather amusing to see her go off as she had." Aster said with an amused chuckle at the end.

"It's not hard to rile her up with questions, especially back in her high school days, it was before she had gotten therapy for her anger management and depression."

Aster was stunned to hear what he had from the elder male. "Serena went to therapy before?"

"Went to? She still goes through therapy, just she likes to keep it to herself a lot." Milo said with a shrug

"How long has she gone through therapy for?"

"Since she was sixteen, it was the summer of that year that when she got out of her yearly appointment that she chose to go through therapy since she ended up severely hurting herself due to the amount of stress that our mother gave her."

Aster was silent for a bit hearing what the elder male said, he had no idea that she had gone through so much emotionally and mentally as a teenager. It was rather stunning to know that she had kept to herself all this time. At that time Serena came into the room with her hands together in front of her. "The lock works like a charm. Thank you so much bro."

"Not a problem, come and take a seat sis."

Serena nodded her head and sat by her brother as Milo continued to speak to Aster. 

"So how did things go after what you said to me?"

"She avoided eye contact with me for a rather long time, after I got used to my classes I didn't see her a lot outside of the classes that I took with her and at lunch I didn't see her anymore, which always worried me." Aster stated "I didn't get to really talk to her about anything until for our history class we had to do a project together and that's when I was able to apologize to her about what had happened and asked her to be friends with me."

Milo looked at Serena. "Sounds accurate to you?"

Serena nodded her head. "It's rather accurate, I wouldn't talk or look at him because I was ashamed of myself for blowing up on him. I'm shy by nature-our parents instilled into me fear of being around people, especially males. So the fact that he apologize for what he had said to me, it made me realize that he was a genuine person and his questions were genuine too. Which it was after I accepted being friends with him that I chose to answer the questions he had previously asked me."

"And you two have been friends since then correct?" Milo asked Aster

"Correct, though as of late I have wished for her to be more than a friend to me."

"I'm aware of that, I see nothing wrong with you being around my sister. You aren't an idiot like the brat she had first befriended."

"You speak about Jaden yeah? I'm well aware of how much of an idiot he is. I'm surprised he even graduated high school."

Serena nodded her head in agreement. "As am I."

Milo got up and went up to Aster which made him stand up quickly, Milo placed his hand out to Aster. "Take good care of my sister for me, I know I can trust you with her. You have to get through to our parents. But as long as you are in good graces with our father you should be good. It's rather hard to please our mother so don't hold your breath to getting her like you."

Aster smiled as he shook Milo's hand. "Thank you, her and I aren't together just yet. Her and I have a lot we have to sort out together before even thinking about being together."

"Smart, you'll do just fine with her." Milo said before he looked to Serena "You have good taste in men, I'm glad you aren't stupid enough to be around that moron Jaden."

Serena scoffed "he isn't my type bro you know that"

"Actually no. No I didn't. You clung onto that boy for years before you chose to separate yourself from him."Milo stated with his arms crossed

"Well he's no longer a problem."

"Which is a good thing, you don't need that type of shit."
