After a bit more time talking with his father, Aster left out with Serena. When they had gotten to the car Aster cupped her face and kissed her lovingly on the lips. "Serena I love you so damn fucking much. Thank you for doing what you had today."

She looked at him flustered as she smiled at him. "I love you too Aster, and you're welcome."

"Let's get going home, it's getting late."

"Mhm, okay Aster."

Aster helped Serena into the car before he got into the car on the drivers side. The drive back home was quiet other than the radio that was playing. Serena knew that Aster had to think about what he was going to do now that his father was alive and well. Would he still take over his father's company or would he stand down so his father could continue his work? While Aster drove it began to heavily snow which worried Serena since she knew how bad the roads would get when it snowed.

Serena kept alert as Aster drove until they got to a red light, she looked at Aster concerned. "Please don't drive like you usually do babe, I don't want anything to happen to either one of us." Serena said concerned

Aster knew why she had her concerns and placed a hand on her thigh. "Don't worry sweetie, I know you don't like being in a car while it snows. I'm being as careful as I can for your sake."

She placed her hand over his before she kissed him on the lips. "Okay, thank you Aster."

As both of them looked forward once more they saw a car rushing towards their car so quickly that neither one of them could react in time for what had happened. The last thing Serena saw what the windshield breaking in front of her. When she woke up she couldn't see anything and freaked out as she placed her hand out in front of her only to feel someone hold onto her hand.

"A-Aster?"

"No...It's your father sweetie. I was called because of what happened to you. Your boyfriend is still out of it."

"W-Why can't I see?"

"You had glass enter your eyes sweetie, they had to do surgery in your eyes to get all of the glass from your eyes. You've been out of it for a month."

"I...I hate snowy months papa!" She said sadly as she sobbed out

"I know honey...I know. First you get into a car accident with your mother now this. I'm going to get a doctor or nurse to see if you can get those bandages off of your eyes."

"O...Okay." She said sadly

Serena was left in silence for a bit other than the beeping of the heart monitor that was attached to her. When she heard people again she felt a hand softly on her arm. "Serena we're going to take the bandages off of your eyes. So don't be alarmed."

"O...Okay."

Serena soon felt the bandages leave around her eyes. When she did she could barely see anything. "E-Everything is so blurry right now."

"that's to be expected you did have glass shards in your eyes miss. The doctors did all they could to salvage your eyes. You will need to get glasses once you are out of here so you'll be able to see once more."

"Okay..."

Serena was kept in the hospital for a few days before she was driven by her brother to get glasses. Afterwards she went back to the hospital just to see Aster, when she had asked about Aster she was told that he had passed away two days ago and had already been taken from the hospital. Serena's heart shattered hearing what she had from the secretary, she left the hospital and cried in her car, heart broken about the fact that the man she loved and adored was gone.

She drove to Aster's apartment and got the spare key from where she hid it, as she did Jaden came out of his apartment and looked at her concerned. "Hey Rena...where have you and Aster been? You two haven't been home in over a month?"

Serena placed the key in the door as she heard Jaden speak, she knew he didn't know about what she had just found out. So she knew better than to snap at him, instead she turned herself to look at him before she placed her head against his chest and broke down crying. "He...He's gone Jaden...Aster is gone." She said through her sobs

Jaden looked at her stunned "Serena...What happened?"

"A-Aster and I got hit by a car that slid on black ice, he...he didn't make it but I did...I...I lost my eye sight now I need to wear glasses. Jaden..Jaden I feel so heart broken. I...I really loved Aster and now he's gone." She said through her sobs as she held onto him tightly

Jaden hugged her back and petted the back of her head softly. "I know that place is a house of memories for you, why don't you grab your things and you can live with me?"

"D-Don't you still live with Jess though?"

"Yeah I do, but he and I aren't on good terms right now."

She sniffled and nodded her head. "O...Okay Jaden...C-Can you help me please? I...I know I'll end up just breaking down in tears."

"Yeah sure thing Rena."
