People have been asking about In Too Deep and The Preacher's Daughter. So, I'll do either of those when this story is done. So, you can continue to vote on what story you want to be finished next I guess but I'll probably just choose what I feel like writing...
Now on to chapter four....
Working Late.. AGAIN
True Bennington POV
She had to be kidding me. It was already 10 p.m! You work a fucking insurance place, that closes at 6 p.m!
"Mando, where the fuck you at?" I yelled in the phone.
"Bae chill. I'm just working late." she said, sounding high.
"Mando, you've been working late all fucking week. And you high as shit. I hear it in your voice!" I cried.
"Bae, I'll see you at home." she said, hanging up.
I felt my eyes moist and fanned them. I looked at the clock 10:37 p.m. I found myself picking up my phone and scrolling through the contacts.
I clicked on Don's name and figured I'd give her a text, see if she was busy.
Me: Hey Don, it's True. Are you busy?
Don: Never too busy for you. Wassup?
Me: Can you call me?She called me within seconds and I felt my stomach aching from nerves. I answered it and bit my lip.
"Hey beautiful." She said, and I heard the smile in her voice.
Mandolin Carter POV
I felt bad for lying to True but I just wanted to chill with my people's. I could imagine True right now, probably crying and cursing my name.
But that's my baby and she wasn't going nowhere. I looked up to see Avery laughing at something Jay had said and to see Julia dancing by herself.
Julia ain't have shit on True but she was looking good from the bottom of this vodka bottle and this third blunt I was puffing on.
I mean she did have a nice little body and I heard her tongue was working wonders. She saw me looking at her and she walked towards me, plopping on my lap.
"Wassup daddy? Why you keep starin' at me?" she asked, her short hair slicked back in a messy ponytail.
She looked like a crackhead. She probably was a crackhead or addicted to something in all honesty but whatever. Head is head.
"You wanna work that tongue?" I asked, biting my lip.
"You already know I do daddy." she said, leading us back to the bedroom and locking the door.
Avery POV
"Did she just...?" I asked Jay.
He nodded, "She just a little promiscuous."
"Don't she go out with that pretty girl who work the desk?" I asked.
He nodded, "Shameful isn't it?"
"And she cheating on her with that?" I asked.
He shrugged again, "Ain't no shame in her game."
"You don't tell True?" I asked.
He shook his head, "Nah, that's my man. Plus she already got everyone telling her and she ain't listening."
I couldn't help but feel bad for the girl. She was going to be hurt by the one she loved.
Boy, did I know how that felt..
True Bennington POV
I laughed, "No I do not!"
"You really do." she said, giggling.
That sounded adorable. I mean, like a friendly adorable.
I checked the clock 1:58 a.m. Where the fuck was Mando?
I sighed, "Where is my girlfriend at? It's 2 in the morning! She ain't here."
"Lock her ass out." Don said, "You know if you was mine, I'd never do no shit like this."
I frowned, "I ain't yours though."
"You could be. You know she just cheating and she ain't treating you right." she said, her tone gentle.
Why did I have to fall in love with Mando? She used to be sweet, and caring but now she never comes home and she always seem to be running game on someone.
"Don, I gotta go." I said, feeling myself tear up.
"True, are you crying? I wasn't tryna make you cry." she said.
I just ended the call. Why did she have to be so right about Mando?
Mandolin Carter POV
The head was whack but all the alcohol in my system made me drowsy. I ended up falling asleep on the bed with the little hoe.
I woke up and looked at the clock. Shit. I hopped up and pulled on my clothes and left the house.
Jay and Avery had already left. Why that little nigga ain't wake me up? Fuck nigga. I got in my car and drove home at an alarming speed.
God, True please don't be too mad at me.
I opened the door and saw True sitting in the recliner. My heart strings instantly tugged. I felt bad.
"Baby? I'm sorry." I said, stepping towards her.
"It's 4 a.m! Where the fuck you been at Mando? What bitch you been fucking with?" she screamed.
"Nobody babe. I was chilling with Jay and fell asleep." I lied, biting my lip.
"Whatever Mando." she said, glaring at me.
"Come on baby, let's look in the mirror." I said, reaching for her.
She came and we went to the mirror. She sucked her teeth. I felt bad; her eyes were red and swollen, her mouth was frowning, and she was breathing heavy.
"Wanna know what I see?" she said.
"What?" I asked.
"A lying ass cheating ass asshole with a girlfriend who's too good for her." she said, pushing me back. "Have fun on the couch, Mando."
She walked away just like that. No Goodnight, no just kidding, no kissing, no nothing. Just a walk away.
Fuck, I was fucking up. She was catching on and I really wasn't tryna loose True.
I loved her.
True Bennington POV
I was pissed off. I shouldn't have to deal with this shit. If I was as pretty as everyone said.
I looked in the vanity. I pursed my lips touching my dry black hair, high yellow skin, and those damn freckles that I wish would disappear.
If I'm so fucking pretty, why isn't my girlfriend coming home to me?
Is this chapter short? I can't tell, it looks medium length. If it's short then please tell me and I'll make the next chapter longer.
This is unedited so please don't point out errors and such. I know there will be errors.
