Chapter Twenty-three : Mandolin's Decision

Mandolin's Decision

Mandolin Carter POV

I looked out the window towards the empty grass. It's been a whole year since True has left me and it still hurts. Everyday without her is torture. Why did I have to lose her?

Then it's worse because I see her and her damn girlfriend everywhere. Why did they have to be successful models?

I sighed, watching Diamond prance towards my door. She was wearing an incredibly small skirt and even smaller shirt. She was beautiful but she wasn't the girl I wanted.

Yet everyday since I moved her, she came to see me dressing more and more revealing every time. I wouldn't be surprised if she came by my house naked soon.

She smiled when I opened the door. I looked at her dryly but secretly appreciating her revealing wardrobe.

"Hey Mandolin!" she greeted me.

I looked at her dryly. She walked into the house and sat on the couch. She leaned it but I turned my head.

"I don't do one night stands." I stated for the 100th time.

"Who said that's all I want?" she asked, sitting up straight.

I shrugged. When I first met Diamond, she was dressed in a business suit but now she's been wearing revealing clothing and all over me.

She was pretty. I did like how she wouldn't give up on me. No matter, how much I rejected her. She gave me attention. All the attention I would need.

"I want you." she whispered, pressing her lips to mine.

I let her before pulling away, "Do you really want me?"

She nodded, sitting on my lap. "I want you so bad."

"And I don't just mean in the sexual way." I said.

"I want you to be mine, Mandolin." she whispered, pressing her lips to mine.

"I'm not over my ex." I mumbled.

"We can fix that later." she said, kissing me again.

Hopefully, this time it'll work out.
