Scapegoat
Lexington Wells POV
She couldn't be serious. Mando was laying on my shoulder, sobbing. And she still refused to tell me why. I blamed myself. I mean, it had to be my fault right?
"Mando baby let me make you feel better." I said, climbing into her lap and pressing wet kisses to her neck and jaw line.
She nodded, kissing me back and letting me grind onto her. I lead her to the bedroom and handed her the strap. She laid me on the bed and took off my clothes.

I laid against her bare chest and smiled down at her. She beamed back at me. I'm glad I could make the hurt go away.
"Soooo..." I started, tracing patterns on her breast.
"Wassup ma?" she asked, pressing her lips together.
"What are we?" I quietly asked.
"Lexington..." she asked.
"I mean, we love each other right? That's why you was sad right? 'Cause I was planning on leaving you, right?" I said.
She frowned at me, "What are you talking about?"
"You was sad because of me?" I asked. "Right?"
"No Lexington. I'm having relationship problems." she said.
My blood began to boil. "That's it. I'm tired of being your fucking scapegoat. Either I'm your girl or I'm not. I'm done with you."
"I guess I should leave then. I'm not choosing you over True." she said.
I laughed, "You already did when you didn't answer her calls, left her up
worrying those late, and let Don or whoever some take yo spot."Mandolin Carter POV
I froze and watched her with careful eyes. Why was she so right?
I slammed the door to the apartment I shared with True. She wasn't here, of course. I just wanted to make everything up to her. I hurt her when she didn't deserve it. I had choose Lexi over True.
Lexington was nobody. She was a little side piece, she wasn't wifey material. I had love for her but I didn't love her. I loved True. With all of my heart.
But I waited too long. She wasn't my True anymore. I didn't deserve her. She deserved someone better than me. Someone who would actually love her. Someone like Don.
But that ain't go stop me from trying to keep her.
True Bennington POV
"I just need a favor please." I said, looking Don in the eyes.
"Anything for you beautiful." she said, caressing my cheek.
"Help me catch Mando in the act." I said.
"Then will you be mine?" she asked.
I nodded, "No matter what it seems like but I have a plan. Just endure the whole thing."
She bit her lip, "What's the plan?"
"I have to perfect it. I'll let you know tomorrow." I told her.
We looked at the lakes rippling waves. The sun bore down on us and I was sweating disgustingly. I only wore a short dress but it was still too hot outside.
"Should we get out of here?" Don asked, looking at her sunburned arms.
I laughed, "You got darker on them arms girl."
