Chapter 9 - The Price of Gold: Part 2

Prince Charming and Grumpy brought Ella and Thomas to the mines.

"Why are we here?" Ella questioned.

"We need a place to keep Rumpelstiltskin." said Prince Thomas.

"And the mines is the perfect place to trap him."

"Rumpelstiltskin is the most dangerous man in all the realms. He needs his own special prison that's why we need to use the mines." Prince Charming explained to her.

"But how will we get him there?" Ella questioned "he's eluded since forever."

"His strength is his weakness. His deals, he can't resist making them, and we all know who's he going to have a deal next, you." Grumpy explained looking at Ella.

"The only way we can trap him is that you have to make another deal with him and magic."

"We've sent words with one of Snow's bluebirds. He accepted to have a meeting with him. You're going to tell him that Doc heard something in his stethoscope, two heartbeats." explained Prince Charming.

"You're going to tell him it's twins." said Prince Thomas.

"And if he wants both, which he will, you will propose a new deal." Prince Charming.

Ella just nodded.

"Grumpy, please show her the quill."

Grumpy shows Ella the quill.

"A quill? I... I don't understand."

"The blue fairy cast it with a spell. Whoever signs this will be frozen, their magic incompetent."

"All you must do is to get him to sign the contract. Ella, this man is a scourge."

"Should we even use magic? Is that what have caused problems since the beginning? What if this magic also came with a price?"

"I will pay for it. I will do whatever I can to save you and our child."

"You'll be fine. This magic is good, it can defeat evil."

They walked into the mines and saw Rumpelstiltskin's cell.

Ella tricks Rumpelstiltskin and he froze and they throw him in the cell while Prince Thomas went to go get water but some time later he's gone.

Ella turned to Rumpelstiltskin "What did you do? What did you do to my Thomas?"

"Ella, what's wrong?"

"I haven't done anything, in case if you noticed, I've been otherwise engaged."

"What happened?"

"Thomas went to the well to get me some water, I went to the well and he's gone." She turned at Rumpelstiltskin "Something's happened to him. You know! Tell me!"

"I have no idea, dearie. But I did warn you. All magic comes with a price and looks like he paid for it."

"Don't listen to him, we'll find Thomas."

"No, you won't. Until that depth is paid.  Until that baby is mine. You're never going to see him again, Cinderella, in this world or the next. I will have that baby."

Prince Charming, Cinderella and Grumpy walked away to look for Thomas.
