Belle walked to the clock tower, peeking through the window where the books are inside when Smee walked up to her.

"Excuse me, miss?"

Belle jumped in fright "You startled me."

"I... I was just wondering if you have any spare change?"

"Oh, no, sorry. I... I don't have any money."

"What... What about a friend? Or a family?" Smee asked "Are you meeting anyone here?"

"Uh, no. Why?"

"I just want to make sure."

Belle frowned in confusion, Smee grabbed Belle and walked away.

Gold approached Jefferson, Enid and Luna "May I have a word with you three?"

"I don't know." Enid said, shrugging her shoulders "We're cleaning up the mess you made."

"My apologies, that was a moment of pure judgement on my part."

"You think?" Luna asked "Then it shouldn't be a lost to you if we say no..."

"Hear me out first, Belle left my home early this morning and I haven't been able to find her since." Gold explained.

"Now look," Enid took a step forward to Gold "We just thought she went to the library for a job suggestion. How can you be so sure she's missing and not ran away?"

"You can't." Luna told her.

Gold sighed "Look the townspeople are less sympathetic to my plight, but you three, you're in the rather unique position to understand exactly what I'm going through. Because you've been through it not once, but multiple times. Will you help me?"

The three exchanged glances before sighing.

"Fine."
