Hope stared at Emma at the door and the two kids with her "Come in."

"Thank You, Hope."

"Who are the kids?" Hope asked Emma as she placed breakfast 🍳 🥐 on the table and let the children eat.

"Ava and Nicholas Zimmer." Emma answered and called Mary Margaret and seconds later she came.

Emma reads the profile "Their mother was a woman named Dory Zimmer. She died a few years ago. No one knows or remembers her."

"And the father?" Mary Margaret asked.

"There isn't one. They don't know one." said Emma.

"Those poor kids." Hope walked over to the kids after they finished eating "Do you guys want to watch TV?"

"Yes, please." Ava and Nicholas said in unison.

"What do you guys want to watch something?"

"Dora the explorer." Ava said.

"Okay." Hope turned the TV on as she magic the dishes to wash themselves.

She walked over to Emma and Mary Margaret "What did the social services say?" Hope asked Emma.

But Emma didn't say anything "You didn't report them?" Mary Margaret asked.

"I report them, I can't help them. They go into the system." Emma answered.

"They system that's supposed to help." Mary Margaret told Emma.

"Yeah, says the woman who wasn't in it for sixteen years. Do you know what happens? They got thrown into homes with only meal tickets, nothing more. These families get paid for these kids and when they worked too much. They get thrown out. Over and Over again." Emma explained to the two women.

"How do you know all of this?" Mary Margaret questioned.

"I was in those systems." Emma answered.

"I'm so sorry." said Mary Margaret and then asked again"What are you going to do?"

"I want to look for their father. They don't know him. He may not know they exist." Emma explained.

"It's a good idea." Hope agreed "And you think if he knows, he'll want them? What if he doesn't?"

"I don't know. It's the best shot." Emma said.

Ava ran over to them crying, was she eavesdropping.

"Are we going to be separated?" She asked.

"No, that's not going to happen." Hope said comforting the child.

"Please, please don't do it."

"It's okay, Ava. Emma will make sure that you guys are together."

She hugged Hope and Ava's crying slowed down and she calmed down, and she went back watching TV.

Later, she went outside as she and Emma talked.

"Did you find their father?" Hope asked.

"Yes. But he doesn't want them." Emma said.

"What are you going to tell them?"

"I don't want to tell them the truth."

"Emma, they deserved to know."

Suddenly, Regina walked over to them.

"What are you doing here?" Hope questioned, crossing her arms.

"I come to make sure that Ms. Swan is doing her job." Regina answered, turning to look at Emma.

"You know you don't need to check on me. I know what I'm doing." Emma said.

"Really? Because those kids needs to be at Boston tonight." Regina said and she left.

Hope turned to Emma "You're not giving up are you?"

"I'm not giving up. I have another idea." Emma said in confidence.

Hope said goodbye to Emma as she drive Ava and Nicholas to Boston. Later, Emma called Hope and tell her the good news: Their father wanted them. Hope was happy that they reunited.
