Chapter 23 - Dreamy: Part 2

At the volunteer center, Mary Margaret take out some forms and then, Leroy walks towards them.

"Where can I sign up?" Leroy asked Mary Margaret.

"You want to help?"

"Yeah. I want to volunteer sell candles."

"No... You don't. You made that very clear at Granny's."

Could've sworn that Leroy turned red at embarrassment "Well... Maybe I saw the light. Maybe someone showed it to me. What does it make, sister? It looks like you four can use the help you  need."

"Fine. You can help us." said Rose Red "But no swearing, no drinking and Mary Margaret and I take the shots."

They set up the candle booth with a little help of magic and tries to sell the candles.

"Come buy your Miner's Day candles! Buy your Miner's Day candles here! Handmade by StoryBrooke very own nuns! Light your way to a good cause! Buy buying a candle..." Mary Margaret turned to the four besides her "This isn't working."

"You're right." said Leroy "We should pack it up."

Hope's head snapped to Leroy "Now, you're quitting?"

"I'm not giving up." said Mary Margaret.

"If the costumers won't come to us, we go to them. Door to Door." said Leroy.

"But what if it doesn't work? What makes you think they'll like you and Mary Margaret in their homes?" Enid questions Leroy.

"Exactly. They'll pay us to leave."

"Fine. Let's go."

"We'll stay here to sell the candles. I mean, if we can." said Hope.

"Thanks, Hope."

While Mary Margaret and Leroy sell candles, Hope, Enid and Rose Red sell the candles only 20 were sell.

Mary Margaret and Leroy came back to the booth.

"How's it go?"

Mary Margaret looked disappointed "We didn't sell many candles."

"Oh, we sell..." Rose Red trailed off counting her fingers to see how much they sell candles "20 candles though."

"That's great."

The girls followed Leroy into the volunteer center, he was talking to a nun named Astrid.

"Sister Astrid, I have some bad news."

Astrid now looks worried "Oh, no. What happened?"

"The bad news is that...You nuns are going to be really busy making candles, because Mary Margaret, Hope, Rose Red and Enid just sold them all. You're not losing the convent. You're not going anywhere."

Astrid hugs Leroy and walks away, Hope, Mary Margaret, Rose Red and Enid walks towards Leroy.

"What is wrong with you?" Mary Margaret asked in a whisper pulling Leroy towards her "How could you tell Astrid that we sold all those candles? Five thousand dollars. Five thousand that we don't have."

"Don't worry about it all right? I have a plan." Leroy said in a low voice.

"You have a plan? A plan like we're going door to door and have everyone in town laugh at our faces!"

"Just give me till the end of the day. I'll figure something out."

"And why is this so important to you?"

"Because..." Leroy looked at Astrid "The nuns will have to leave."

They followed his gaze towards Astrid as Mary Margaret realized that Leroy likes Astrid.

"Oh my god! You like her!" Leroy looks at her "She is a nun, Leroy! Could you possibly pick someone else less available?"

"Mary Margaret, he's in love with her. Just let him be!" Hope exclaimed quietly.

"Says the girl who ran after a married guy?" He questioned and Mary Margaret became quiet "At the end of the day, you're no better than I am." He continues "You guys have your reason for being here, I got mine. And when I say I'm going to get that five thousand dollars, I will get that five thousand dollars."

He then walks away.

"So, what's Plan B?" Hope asked Leroy.

"Follow me."

Mary Margaret and Hope follow Leroy at the roof, he have an axe in hand.

"Leroy, don't jump!" Hope exclaimed as she climbed to the roof.

Leroy looks at Hope with a 'Are you serious?' look "I'm not going to jump."

Hope sighed in relief "You're not?"

"No. Are you crazy? I could hit someone."

"Then what are we doing up here?"

"I'm going to do my moment."

"Wait, what?"

"You guys want to duck." He throws the axe and it hits the power generator and the power goes out.

"And now?" Hope asked again as they climbed down a building.

"Now, we're going to sell the candles."

They sell the candles and it's all sold out and Leroy gave Astrid the money.

But there's one more person who's going to live in StoryBrooke. Enter Luna Lovegood.
