Chapter 3 - Broken: Part 3

After Emma talk with her parents, Andromeda went home and they went to the Sheriff's Station where Regina is about to be killed by a creature that is sucking her sole, that soul sucking thing remind Luna, Enid and Hope of the dementor.

"Does Patronus work on that thing?" Enid shouted.

"I don't know. Let's try!" Hope pointed her wand at the soul sucking thing "Expecto Patronum!" A white doe shot out of her wand and it chase away the creature but not before cutting it's arm off with a sectumsempra and Luna uses a fire spell on ir"It worked!"

Emma ran over to Regina and helped her "What is that thing?"

Regina gasps and choked some air "A wraith. A soul sucker."

The three witches looked at each other. So it is like a dementor.

She turned to Hope and Luna "And thank you, Miss Potter and Miss Lovegood."

"Did I-" Luna started but Rose cuts her off.

"Kill it? No. It regenerates."

"It will be back. It doesn't stop until it devours it's prey." Regina showed them the mark on her hand "Me."

"Who did that to you?" Hope demanded for an answer.

"Gold."

"So, How do we kill it?"

"You can't kill something that is already dead."

"Then we have a problem." said Emma.

"No we don't." David spoke up, looking at Regina"Regina does." Everyone looked at David, shock on their faces.

Regina looks at David "What?"

"David?"

"You want to let her die?" Emma asked her dad, shock is still on her face.

"Why not? Then it goes away. And we'll be safe."

"You've got to be kidding me." Hope muttered, slapping her forehead with her hand.

"Quite an example when you're daughter is here, David."

David walks towards Regina "You don't get to judge us!"

"Where do you think that came from?"

"Gold, obviously." Luna just piped in, her expression not bothered.

Emma turned to David and said "I made a promise to Henry that she's not dying."

Snow White decided to ask Regina"You said it can't be killed. What do you suggest?"

"Send it somewhere it can't hurt anyone." Regina answered.

They're at Regina's office and put a box on the table and asked Emma "Did Henry really asked you to protect me?"

"Yes." Regina smiled a bit and pulls a hat out of the box "The hat. You've had it all along."

Regina pretend to be clueless "What do you mean?"

"That's Jefferson's hat."

"Who's Jefferson?"

David, Snow and Rose entered Regina's office with brooms "What are you three doing?" Hope questioned.

"Torches. Just in case." said David.

"Uh - huh..."

Rose looks at the hat "So how does it work?"

"It will open up a portal to our land." Regina sets the hat on the floor "All we have to do is send the wraith here."

"Oh, yeah. Just that."

Snow gave David a broom and she looks confused "I don't understand. I thought our land is gone."

"It is. But sending it to a place that no longer exist... Well, that's banishing to oblivion."

The lights flickered and the wraith screamed and David light up the brooms.

"Regina..."

Regina tries to spin the hat "I'm trying."

The doors are blown open and Hope doesn't even realize that a strand of her hair slowly turned to black.
