"You do?" Meredith asked looking up at Arizona with wide eyes. The relief she felt she was worried people would judge her and think less of her after her diagnosis but maybe not maybe it'll be ok after all
"I do and it hasn't had any impact on my ability as a surgeon, so you don't need to worry." Arizona cooed smiling at Meredith
"Now how do you feel about driving home today?" Arizona asked,
"Umm..I..." Meredith tried to answer but was unsure,
"It's ok if you don't feel you can I'll drive you home then I'm working the same as you tomorrow I'm pretty sure so I can pick you up and you can collect your car then." Arizona explains smiling, Meredith is relived there isn't a touch of judgment in Arizona's voice only understanding and care
"Um no I'm to overwhelmed and also still slightly dizzy I don't think driving would be a good idea." Meredith replied, looking down at her hands
"Ok sounds good, are you ready to leave my love?" Arizona smiled,
"I um... my clothes." Meredith mumbled realising she still wasn't wearing any trousers.
"Of course, I'll step out and you get changed, yell if you need anything" Arizona said smiling, before stepping out of the room.

Once Meredith was changed she joined Arizona who drove her home,
"Is Derek home?" Arizona asked
"Not today," Meredith said calmly looking out the windows "he's working a 24hr shift he finished around when I start tomorrow"
"Are you going to be ok alone?" Arizona asked worried about the younger blonde
"Yeah I'll be fine. I've always had my conditions and I've gotten my diagnosis recently so it's been an adjustment learning what is and isn't good for my body medically." Meredith explained,
"I've always known what makes me feel better but it's helpful to know medically, and not just of if I stand to long for a day I need to sleep with bent legs to help reduce the arch of my back or that I can't write notes on my hand because I would get welts. Now I have a diagnosis I know medically that I need to realign my back and I will get stretches to help do that once I have my next Physiotherapy appointment. And that my sore ankles are not just.. oh Sorry I'm rambling," Meredith finished realising Arizona probably didn't care
"No please don't apologise, I don't mind hearing you talk about it, it's helpful to share it and especially with your ADHD verbalising ideas can help you sort them in your mind." Arizona said smiling, "please keep talking, tell me more about yourself or anything I don't mind." She continued smiling to herself she loved listening to the younger blonde chat and be carefree she'd always loved listening to the intern hearing what Meredith had to say she was an old soul and often fascinated Arizona, even before today when they would talk during Surgeries or she would overhear her talking in the cafeteria.
Meredith smiled, looking at Arizona with tears of joy sitting on the corners of her eyes
"Oh gosh Meredith, are you ok? Is something hurt?" Arizona asked concerned when she saw the girls tears,
"No..no I um.. most people get annoyed when I ramble on, I'm just grateful you aren't getting annoyed at me." Meredith explained, looking at Arizona.
"Oh my dear, I'm very happy to listen. Whatever you want to talk about, but just a heads up we are only 10 minutes from your place." Arizona replied smiling
Meredith sat silent for a moment thinking, before turning to Arizona.
Meredith talked to Arizona the whole way home telling her about all her interests and what she liked to do on her days off, she hadn't realised but they had gotten home, and where sitting in her driveway.

"Yeah and I love...oh we are at my house." Meredith said realising suddenly they where not longer driving.
"My love we've been here for 20minutes I just wanted to let you finish talking." Arizona smiled
"Oh I'm sorry you probably want to get home I'm keeping you." Meredith replied
"It's fine I promise I don't mind I'm not in any rush." Arizona said smiling
"Do you want some help getting inside or are you ok?" Arizona asked wanting to make sure the younger blonde was ok.
"I'll be fine thank you Ari." Meredith said smiling.
"You're welcome and I'll pick you up tomorrow yeah just give me a call if you need anything." Arizona smiled as Meredith climbed out of the car, once she'd seen the younger blonde go inside she left heading home herself.

A week later

Over the week Meredith had been talking to Arizona more grateful to have someone who knew, she had just finished a shift and was too tired to go home, opting to sleep in the on call room instead and head home in the morning. After a 24hr shift she was exhausted, she hadn't expected to find Arizona also in the on call room,
"Oh hey Mer, I thought you finished?" Arizona asks checking her watch
"Oh I did but I'm too tired plus I think my Skin Dermagraphia is flaring up again I can feel my back getting itchy from my hair." Meredith says sighing as she flopped down on the bed next to Arizona's.
"Oh my love, have you had an antihistamine?" Arizona asks, and Meredith just nods
"Ok what about some softer clothes your still in your scrubs?" Arizona asks concerned for the younger women she could see the red marks forming on Meredith's arms from the rough edge of the scrubs
"I forgot to bring a new set in." Meredith sighed, "I'm fine Ari." She said
"No, let me go grab something." Arizona said jumping up from the bed and leaving Meredith alone. Meredith was confused what was Arizona getting, but before she could wonder too much Arizona reappeared with a small bag in her arm passing it to Meredith.
Confused Meredith look inside and pulled out a set of silk pyjamas.
"What are these from?" Meredith asked confused also noticing the hairbrush and hair ties in the bag.
"I bought it for you, just in case, the silk is smooth so it shouldn't irritate your skin but it's quite cool so you shouldn't  get too hot. And the hair stuff is so I or you can braid your hair keep it off your neck." Arizona explained slightly worried she'd made the wrong decision.
"Ari these are perfect." Meredith smiled, "thank you and can um.. you do my hair please?" Meredith asked already feeling relieved by thinking about her hair being off her neck.
"Of course my love, get changed and then I'll do your hair." Arizona cooed.
