Sonic the Hedgehog: Attached

Chapter 1: Infinite

"I'm Sonic The Hedgehog, and I'm about to die."

A fifteen year old anthropomorphic hedgehog raced through people, cars, sidewalks, and stoplights. Some people shouted at him angrily, but others screamed and ran away. Sonic couldn't tell if it was because of him, or the jackal behind him.

"Yo, Infinite! Catch me if you can!" shouted Sonic. "That way, idiot." echoed Fleetway. "Oh my god, I'm TRYING, Fleetway! Dear Mobius, give me a break!" replied the speed-demon.

"Awww, can Sonic not deal with his own form?" asked Fleetway. "You KNOW I couldn't deal with you since I was eleven!" He reminded. "Who are you talking to?" asked Infinite furiously, rushing to keep up with the azure hero.

"None of your business, Infinite! You villains are so RUDE." shouted Sonic, running backwards, taunting the villain. "You won't be joking when I'm done with you!" threatened Infinite.

"So greedy! Think of all the other supervillains that want me dead!" said Sonic as he jumped on top of a private bathroom and continued running. He chuckled and leaped off with the supervillain on his tail.

"Alright, that tears it!" said Infinite. He brung out Shadow, Chaos, Metal, and Zavok. (Sonic already met Shadow, so they are already rivals)

"Shadow?! Chaos?! Metal!? Zavok?!" asked Sonic in shock. He had defeated all of those villains YEARS AGO. Except for Shadow, obviously. He didn't think Shadow was a villain... anymore, that is.

He made an effort to evade their attacks with his super-speed, but those efforts were in vain as he ended up collapsing limply on the ground. Sonic groaned weakly and fought to keep his eyes open.

"You're dead, hedgehog!" said Shadow. Infinite approached him with a sword he picked up and aimed it towards Sonic. "Say Goodnight, Sonic!" added Infinite. Sonic tried to ignore the loud laughing of Fleetway in his head as he closed his eyes, awaiting his end.

"Let him go!"

It was not any of the villains who had spoken. "Who was that?" asked Fleetway. A pink hedgehog like him used her hammer, which made Infinite stumble away from Sonic, and a red echidna knocked out all the other villains.

Sonic staggered to his feet, seeing his saviors. He grabbed his left arm in pain. I can't join the fight like this, he realized. I'll have to let the other people fight for me while I heal, which hopefully won't be long.

"Are you okay?" asked a yellow fox, examining Sonic's left arm after taking his hand away from it. "I'll be fine. Hopefully I didn't need those ribs..." said Sonic. He said the last part quietly, but the fox being a fox heard it.

"WHAT!?" He asked. "No matter, why are you here? Who are you?" questioned Sonic, avoiding the fox's first question. "We came here to save your life. I'm Miles Prower, but everyone calls me Tails," started Tails.

"Nice to meet you Tails," greeted Sonic with a weak smile. "The pink hedgehog over there is Amy Rose, or just Amy, and that echidna is Knuckles the Echidna, or just Knuckles." explained Tails, pointing to each.

After they almost finished the villain off, Sonic spin dashed Infinite, who collapsed to the ground in a pose similar to the former's pose before Amy, Knuckles and Tails saved him. His ear twitched as he heard maniacal laughing. He looked up and saw Eggman carrying Infinite away.

"This won't be the last you heard of us, Sonic! Just wait and see! I will get your power, and defeat you!" said Eggman, his figure becoming a blur in the horizon. Sonic rolled his eyes and prepared to speed after him.

"Wait," called Amy, her and her friends approaching the hedgehog, stopping him from getting away. Sonic hummed in curiosity. "What are you doing? You're hurt, you can't go after Eggman now."
