JOSEPHINE's POV
"You guys." I smiled, watching as my two best friends waved from our front step. "Stop acting like I'm moving away."

"But you are." Zoe said, an exaggerated frown on her face.

"I'm moving down the street." I smiled, backing away from them. "We can see each other any time."

"It just won't be the same." Lily giggled.

"You guys are going to make me cry." I smiled, walking with Smudge towards what used to be Brock and Matt's townhouse. "I'll see you guys tomorrow."

I laughed as they smiled, walking back inside their townhouse. I turned and made my way to my new house, opening the door. We had already moved Matt's bed into Brock's old room, replacing it with my bed. Brock moved in with Morgan on the other side of Saint Paul, closer to where she got a job, making room for me to move in with Matt, just like we planned. My office was set up upstairs in a small nook, Matt's gaming stuff in the TV room on the entry level. One of the bedrooms was left as a gym, just like Brock and Matt had it, and Brocks room was made into the guest room. As far as Matt and I are concerned we aren't having kids anytime soon, but look at Alex and Mika, and they're doing quite well for themselves.

As I stopped inside I slipped my shoes off and set them on the shoe rack. I hung up Smudge's leash, closed the door, then followed him up the stairs and into the kitchen.

"Honey I'm home." I sang, walking into the kitchen.

"You have no idea how good that feels." Matt smiled, rounding the island to wrap his arms around me.

"It is really nice." I smiled. "It smells like you cooked but I know you didn't."

"I got sushi takeout." He smiled down at me.

"Yay." I smiled, letting go of him and sitting down at the island.

"Good?" He asked, pulling plates out of the cabinets.

"Perfect." I smiled. "I'm just going to pretend you cooked for me."

"That sounds like a plan to me." Matt smiled, placing certain sushis on my plate, knowing which to avoid, then handing me my plate.

"Thank you." I smiled, watching as he plated his own, then leaning down to grab something out of the drawer.

"A little house warming gift." He smiled, handing over a small gift box.

"Awe Matt." I gushed. "I didn't get you anything."

"That doesn't matter." He smiled. "I wanted to get these. It's kinda for me too."

"Ok." I chuckled, pulling the wrapping paper off of the box. I flipped the box over, opening it to reveal two sets of chopsticks, each with a small M+J engraved into the top. "These are adorable."

"I found a place online, I figured it would be a good way to make this place more homey." Matt grinned, taking the two I offered to him.

"I love them." I smiled. "Thank you."

"Of course." Matt chuckled, leaning in and pressing a kiss to my lips.

"I'm so happy that you wanted to move in with me." Matt smiled, eating some of his sushi.

"How could I not?" I giggled.

"I don't know." Matt blushed.

"Well I'm so happy to be here." I grinned.

"We get to spend our first night in our bed." Matt smiled, looking over to me.

"I'm so excited." I giggled. "It's going to be the best."

"So I have a question to ask you." Matt said quietly, looking down into his food.

"What's up?" I asked him, genuinely curious as to what he wanted to talk about.

"This past summer your epilepsy got a lot worse." He sighed. "And I know it might not seem like it for you, but you've been starting to have convulsions and I'm really worried about you."

"I guess I have noticed." I sighed. "I know I'm having them more often."

"Yeah." Matt sighed, standing up and placing his plate in the dishwasher. "I have no right to tell you how to live your life and I will respect whatever choice you make, but I really want you to think about the toll work is taking on you."

"I did actually talk to my mom about it a little bit." I said quietly. "And I will think about it, I really will."

"Thank you." Matt sighed, walking behind me and moving my hair to the side. I leaned back against him as he placed his lips against my neck, offering me a sweet and loving kiss. "I love you Jos."

"I love you more Matty." I smiled, spinning around to grab his hand.

"Now listen." Matt smiled. "I've had a song stuck in my head all day." He said, grabbing his phone. "And I was wondering if you'd like to have our first dance in our first kitchen to this song."

"Most certainly Matty B." I grinned, standing to join him. He watched me carefully as he took my waist, just in time for Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls to fill my ears.

"Do you remember?" He asked quietly, pressing his forehead against my own.

"How could I forget?" I asked, staring deeply into his eyes. "I play it whenever I miss you. It reminds me of the man I'm truly deeply and fully in love with."

"Thats interesting." Matt answered, a playful smile tugging at his lips. "Because Iris reminds me of the woman I am fully deeply and truly in love with."

"Sounds quite similar." I whispered, leaning closer to him.

"Funny right?" He asked, leaning down so his lips were on mine once more in a passionate kiss. But something about this kiss felt different, instead of red hot desire filling my soul, bright white light filled my heart, shooting joy though my bones.

I pulled away from him, looking into his eyes, smiling.

"What?" He asked me, swaying me side to side.

"I'm just happy." I grinned, leaning closer to him. "Living with you, being with you, meeting you."

"Thats a lot to be happy for." He smiled, watching me. We swayed in silence for a few moments, soaking up the peace and quiet of living life with each other.

"I have a lot to be happy for as well." He finally spoke, looking into my eyes. "Mostly you."

"I'm a pretty great thing to be happy for." I giggled.

"That you are sweets." He smiled. "You are truly one of a kind."

"Thank you Matt." I giggled, leaning in to kiss him. I pulled away again as I felt him smile against my lips. "What?" I asked, quirking my head sideways.

"Would you ever want to get married?" Matt asked, looking deeply into my eyes.

"Of course." I smiled, snaking my arms around his neck. "All these weddings got you in a wedding mood?"

"Just a little bit." Matt smiled, pulling me closer to him. "Your brothers wedding was so fun."

"It really was." I smiled. "My family knows how to bring the party."

"If theres one thing I've learned from dating you its that the Norwegians know how to party." Matt smiled, leaning closer to me.

"That we do Mister Boldy." I grinned, standing on my tip toes to kiss him.

"One day I'll ask you to marry me." Matt smiled. "Because I am so so in love with you Josie."

"And I will say yes because I am so in love with you Matty B." I sighed, attaching his lips to mine once more.
