JOSEPHINE's POV
"Can you come let me in?" Matt asked as soon as I picked up the phone.

"I left the garage door unlocked, just go in through the garage." I half-yawned, laying on my bed.

"Ok." He spoke. "I'll be up in a second."

"Ok." I sighed, not hanging up the phone. I've been at work all day, with the start of the season right around the corner and I'm absolutely exhausted. I know Matt is worried about me because he called me when he got back from working out, again when he left the rink, and once more when I was on my way home. I would be upset except I understand why he's worried about me. If I were him I'd worry about me too.

I snapped out of my thoughts when my bedroom door opened. I looked up and saw Matt walking around the corner, a smile on his face.

"Hey." He said, walking up to me. "You're all bundled up."

"I know." I giggled, snuggling under my blankets. I watched as Matt ran a hand over my head, crouching down so he was eye to eye with me.

"I know we talked on your way home, but how was your day actually." He said, running a few fingers through my hair.

"Long." I sighed, enjoying the sensation.

"I bet." Matt spoke quietly, his tone light. "I figured we could just watch some TV."

"That sounds perfect." I said, opening my eyes to look at him. "I really like living down the street from you."

"I do too." Matt grinned, leaving me to walk over to my diffuser. I watched as he added a few drops of oil to it before turning it on. "It's so easy. Plus I can leave whenever Brock and Morgan are getting it on."

"Gross." I groaned, rolling over. My head started feeling heavy but I chalked it up to being exhausted from working for almost twelve hours.

"I know." Matt chuckled, turning around. I sent him a lazy smile as he got into bed with me, sliding under the covers before grabbing my phone to turn on the TV. I scooted closer to him, laying my head on his chest and wrapping an arm over him.

"You feel ok?" He asked me, abandoning the TV.

"I'm really tired." I said, pulling myself as close as possible to him.

"Alright." Matt said, not fully believing me.

"Can we watch Brooklyn 99?" I asked, closing my eyes.

"Sure." Matt spoke, his hand running up and down my back. My ears began to ring as the blanket became heavy on my body. I sighed, hoping it was sleep about to over take me as my eyelids got heavy. As I settled in my hands and feet became uncomfortable, tingling slightly. I grunted as I tried to move but my body was too heavy, too uncomfortable.

"Josie?" Matt asked, shaking my shoulder.

"Hm?" I asked, trying to open my eyes.

"Jose?" I heard him ask again. I did my best to answer, trying to move.

"Phi!" He half yelled this time moving me a little more.

"Yeah." I whispered, dragging my eyelids open to see him standing above me.

"Hey." Matt said, a tight smile on his lips. "Welcome back."

"Hmm." I sighed, closing my eyes again.

"Josie you've gotta open your eyes pretty girl." He said softly, rolling me into my side. "Let me see your pretty eyes."

I sighed and tried to open them again, feeling extremely tired and limp. I moved my arm as best I could, trying to find Matt's hand.
