"Chro, mi cyan manage when unuh sick enuh."

Every single one a di baby dem sick. Feel like me out fi mad.

"Mommmy." Lynn starts whining.

"Just wait baby, mommy soon come." I need about four more hands or eight. The two weh mi have just nah cut it. 

Shoulda can shapeshift inna one octopus. 

She starts sniffling, her nose is stuffy. A bawl she ago start bawl enuh. 

Right now mi out fi bawl wid her so mek she stay deh.

I pick up the bottle of cold medicine, "You have to take this to feel better baby."

She starts shaking her head so I decide to start with my easiest child. 

I give Cayden some first, as usual he corporates. He's always so well behaved. Mussi first child syndrome. 

A him did trick me, mek mi think having one more wouldn't be so bad. Till mi try fi one and end up wid two. A dat yuh call Radam.

Only lesson mi learn is nuh trouble weh nuh trouble yuh.

I wash the medicine cup out and refill it. 

I walk over to Imani and hand it to her. She doesn't take it in her hand so I instruct her. "Open up mama."

She opens her mouth wide and I give her the medicine. She listens as well, such a sweet girl. 

My two daughter them though... Them attitude very questionable. 

Prayed to God to give me my twin. I meant I wanted a daughter who looked liked me. 

But God tek mi literally. Him gi mi a pair of girls weh don't look like me one bit, but act just like me.

The pickney dem have mi attitude and mi nuh like that.

Suh Ms.Karma go to work.

Lani is next in line, all it takes is promises of ice cream and bringing her to the park for her to take her medicine. I'll never be above bribing.

I save the hardest child for last. I start pleading before I even get to her. "Just take it please."

She folds under her lips and starts shaking her head no.

"I'll buy you ice cream if you take some." 

She's still shaking her head telling me no. "Mommy I don't want it."

I dangle the medicine cup in front of her "Well everybody will feel better and you'll still be sick if you don't take any."

"Look sissy I take mine coz' i wanchu feel beddur." Lani joins in.

Lynn looks over at her she's still a little skeptical but she opens up.

She only drinks half and then starts crying. "It's nasty mommy. I no want it."

Just then Chanel walks into the room. She's here helping out since Caleb is away on business. There is no way I could manage this on my own. 

I've been here for the last hour trying to get them to take all their medication. 

Chanel comes over and stretches out her hands. "Gimmi it." 

Feeling defeated I hand her the medicine. She sits on the bed and locks Lynn between her legs. "Come hold her hand fi me."

Mi sorry but a mi last resort this. A fi her own good. 

I hold both her small wrists in mine and she starts trying to wiggle free so Chan locks her legs tighter.
