I throw back my sixth or was it eighth shot.

Not even sure, after around number four everything got blurry and I lost count somewhere along the way.

At exactly 12 am the music in the hut changes. And the ladies start hyping me up.

The men are in a corner one side talking amongst themselves.

Like dem a plan world domination.... or sumn.

Yeah or sumn. I'd choose the latter.

Caleb comes over to me and kisses my neck from behind.

"Yuh good?" He asks.

I bite down on the lime and close my eyes because of the sourness. "Mhmm. I'm good."

"Why yah talk suh loud?" He wraps his arm around my waist "Yuh drunk?"

Then me a talk loud? Caleb lie and extra.

"I'm not drunk babe." I tell him. "I'm very much sober"

He chuckles " Drunk people always say dem sober."

I turn to face him and pierce him with a glare. "I said I'm not drunk ."

"Alright babe. Yah the don enuh so anything yuh say."

I put my hand on his shoulders to steady him "Stop moving so much please."

He looks confused "I'm not moving babe."

I squint my eyes "Yes you are, stay one place nuh."

Caleb laughs, the two of him "Come sidung."

He takes hold of my hand and leads me to the corner of the room. He sits and places me on his lap.

He wraps his arms around me and presses his head to my back.

"Just be a polite host and stay five more minutes then we cut." He whispers to me. "Have plans fi you."

"Wah kinda plans we ago fuck?"

At that exact moment Tevin chooses to change the song playing on the surround system.

So the place is completely quiet and I guess I really was speaking loud. Or everybody else was whispering.

Because every single head turns to face me.

I turn my head and stick it in the crook of Caleb's neck riding out the wave of embarrassment.

Anna breaks the awkward silence when she starts signing "Time too hard yuh pussy nuh fi fuck nuttn."

That breaks the tension. "No Anna him kind to me so mi run the pussy free to him." I say in response.
