Suspicious

****Sonny's POV****

I woke up smelling good breakfast, I knew Amanda was cooking something good even though normally I throw down in the kitchen, Amanda never disappoints.

I went into the bathroom and used the restroom

"Ah I gotta shave today."
I whispered to myself looking at the 3 day old scruff

I opened the medicine cabinet and took out my razor and noticed it look like it had been used and damp feeling

"Eh, that's weird I hadn't used this razor.."
I said confused

I threw it out and got a new one and shaved and got ready for the day

I come out into the kitchen

"Hey good morning babe."
Amanda smiled looking up from making eggs

"Good morning."
I walked over and placed a kiss on her cheek

"Hey I need to tell you something."
Amanda whispered

Emily was watching tv in the living room

"What's up?"
I asked concerned

"Emily was sleeping on the couch, I went to wake her up this morning and found her on the couch."
Amanda said

"Really that's weird."
I said

"Yeah."
Amanda said

"Well you know what was weird,I went to shave this morning and my razor was damp and it had been used I know it was a new razor."
I said

"Hi daddy."
Emily said

We both looked over and Emily stood there smiling

"Hey sweetie you ok?"
I asked

"Yeah, are you?"
She asked

"Yeah."
I said

"Remember no secrets."
Emily smiled

"You're right."
I chuckled

"Breakfast is almost ready baby."
Amanda smiled

"Ok."
Emily smiled going back into the living room

"Is it me or is something off?"
I asked

"No I get it too."
Amanda said

****Emily's POV****

I'm hoping Sonny and Amanda don't find out about the cuts and the razor incident
I silently watched tv

"Hey Emily breakfast is done."
Amanda called

"Ok mom."
I said

I come to the table and Sonny fixed me a plate
It was silent for a few minutes while we ate

"So how did you sleep Emily?"
Sonny asked

"Ok, I guess."
I said

"Mom said you were asleep on the couch this morning."
Sonny said

I looked down playing with my food silently

"Yeah, just had to go to the bathroom in the night and just decided to lay on the couch"
I lied

It was silent for a minute

I let out a deep breath and ate another bite of my food

"So do we have any plans today?"
I asked breaking the silence

"Umm i'm not sure yet, going to get an update on Simon maybe we could go visit him go to the park after?"
Amanda asked

"Ok."
I smiled

"You know what I thought was weird Emily is I was telling mom that I went to shave and found my razor had been used."
Sonny said

My face felt like it had been lit on fire

"That's weird."
I said

No one said anything

"Umm can I be excused?"
I asked

"Are you sure? you haven't finished your food baby."
Amanda said

"Yeah."
I said

"I'm going to finish getting ready for the day."
I said

I got up and went to my room and brushed my hair in my mirror, my sides was killing me but I had relief and I suspect Sonny and Amanda know something is wrong and going on.

****Sonny's POV****

"Somethings definitely up with her."
I said

"Yes, did you see her face when you mentioned the razor?"
Amanda said

"Yes."
I said

"Should we maybe talk to George? He maybe able to help, or even calling Alex. I know this probably a lot for her, and she's still not talked about her experience of how she knew what she did."
Amanda said

"Yeah, maybe we should talk to Alex when we go see Simon and see what he says I don't think talking George would be bad either. He speaks mandarin too, so maybe she'd open up to him."
I said

"I'm afraid she's hurting herself again."
Amanda grabbed my hand

"Me too."
I said

****Emily's POV****

Sonny was driving Amanda and I to the hospital to see Simon, it's been sorta awkward since our conversation this morning at breakfast.

"So Emily one of our doctors that works with us at the squad, he's a psychiatrist and he speaks mandarin too."
Amanda said

I wondered why she would be bringing up such a thing
I thought

"Oh really That's cool."
I smiled

"Yeah, he helps us with people who come in who've had some problems with emotions and what not."
Sonny said

I looked down then back up
I really think they suspect something
I didn't know what to do or what to say

****Sonny's POV****

Amanda and I had left Emily alone with Simon to spend some alone time with him
But that real reason is we needed to talk to Alex

We was outside Simon's room looking through the glass
Simon and Emily was talking and it was a miracle Simon was improving as fast and as quick as he is

"Hey Sonny, Amanda the nurse said you wanted to speak to me?"
Alex said looking concerned

"Yeah, it's about Emily."
I said

"What's going on?"
He asked

Amanda and I began to explain everything that went on from the hosptial to last night to this morning.

Alex let out a deep breath

"I don't know she maybe experienced something since she was near death, and I'm suspecting she's doing something to herself too."
Alex said

"Yeah that's what we're afraid of."
Amanda said

"What do you suggest we do?"
I asked

"I would Encourage you both to talk to someone specialized in trauma and mental health, I can recommend some people."
Alex said

"That would be great, we are thinking about maybe even trying our doctor at the precinct. I don't know if we told you but her and Simon speak fluent mandarin, and our doctor speaks fluent mandarin so hoped maybe that would help."
Amanda said

"Yeah, that's a good idea, you know I'll get the names and numbers of some people and I'll be right back".
Alex said

"While you're doing that I'll call Juang."
I said pulling out my cell phone
