An unexpected turn

****Sonny's POV****

"Liv just gave me an update on Simon."
I said

"What?"
Amanda asked

"They got Simon sitting up some and he's talking some,making stutters, his leg is shaking when he talks but they think it's part of the neurological stuff going on. It just may take some more time to make sure. He's able to hear and has hearing they did some hearing tests and did some exercises with him."
I smiled

"Yay!"
Emily put her hands to my face in relief

"That's such good news."
Amanda rubbed Emily's back smiling

"Can we go see him?"
Emily asked

Amanda looked at me and smiled
We both nodded

"Yes."
I said

Emily smiled real big

"Oh Emily what was you starting to say before we got the news on Simon?"
Amanda said

Emily sat there a second

"Oh it was nothing, I just hoped that maybe we could see Simon today."
Emily smiled

I could tell she was hiding something

Amanda looked at me then back to Emily

"Are you sure?"
Amanda asked

"Yes."
Emily smiled

Amanda looked at me with the look of
"I know she's hiding something."

"Well why don't we go see Simon?"
I smiled

"Sounds like a plan."
Amanda smiled

****Emily's POV****

The drive to the hosptial was quiet
What I really was trying to tell Amanda was that I overheard her and Sonny talking about the whole hugs and mom and dad thing.
Letting them know it was ok to hug me and I just wanted to get comfortable.

I believe they suspicion I have more to say but didn't.

We pulled into the parking lot and got parked

"You ready Emily?"
Amanda smiled and looked back at me from the passenger seat

"Yeah."
I smiled

We got out of the car
I noticed my head had a pain in it that I hadn't felt before and I instantly grabbed it

"Ow"
I said quietly

"Hey you ok Emily?"
Sonny asked

"Yeah, just my head hurt for a second."
I said

"Hey let us know if that continues we need to watch that with the head injury."
Amanda said

"Yeah."
I smiled

My head really began to sorta hurt but wanted to ignore it because we was about to see Simon.

We got to the floor Simon was on, bringing back memories when I was here.

Alex was at the nurses station and looked up at us
He instantly smiled and looked over at us

"Hey."
Alex said

"Emily you look great."
Alex smiled

"Thanks"
I smiled

My head really began to hurt
I guess my face told something because the next thing Alex said was

"Hey you ok Emily?"
Alex asked
