Chapter 20 : Camping (Part 4)

Mac was skittish but Nick's hands tipped his head up and down, accepting the proposal shakily, the trio sharing an awkward hug. Returning to respective homes later that night, they realized they needed an opportunity, somewhere for Nan to go, for something to happen and the universe may have assisted with that, the opportunity falling into their hands, or rather Day's hands ultimately.

Day received a call from the Inspector in Chonburi, hoping for a closure so he may proceed with the insurance claim smoothly but the culprit did have a couple of  final tricks up his sleeves, feigning innocence and going as far as to accuse Nan of assault!

" That sly fucker, I should have punched him harder Hia!" Nan's fist flew in the air, the disgruntled group gathered in Nan's living room.

" He wants us there to record our statement. Itt's Dad has called our lawyer and he will meet us but Nan, we must leave soon. No need for an arrest warrant unnecessarily." Day was equally mad, finding no fault in Nan's actions in defending the shop. To him, it was in self-defense, only difference was Nan was already a fighter, throwing an additional punch for the bastard hurting Wei. An eye for an eye.

" Say what...2 days notice good for you?" Day asked Nan upfront, giving him time to get his track in order before they left.

" Yeah, we're good Hia. Wei...//turning to man leaning against the column// You stay here. Get Ai, Puck and Good to step up. It's the pay weekend, will be bat shit crazy around here". Accepting the other's nod, Nan took a glance at the person seated quietly on the stairs, getting up to leave as soon as he was spotted, but not before exchanging smirks with Itt, eyes gleaming in mischief.

//Opportunity!//

" Come here you...." an inviting pull wormed around his waist brought Mac against a shirtless torso as he applied his creams before bed, a day before Nan's departure.

" bastard, not when I'm doing something" Mac admonished, concentrating in applying the cream evenly on his face in the mirror. Above him, a freshly showered barbarian was grinning widely and Mac deemed barbarian apt for the hair all over the place, the strong chest and matching abs with tattoos running around forearms as thick as his neck.

" You smell nice" Nan complimented, taking a sniff at the back of his beloved's head, slowly making his way behind a ear, a tongue tracing the crevices of a earlobe before Mac squirmed away uncomfortably.

" Oii!!! What do you want!" Mac snapped, hands as quick as his mouth, slapping the cheek away.

" Ah!" the taller man squeaked for a second, flinching away.// damn, those slim fingers stung!//

" I just want some energy for my trip" Nan moaned, plopping onto bed like a reprimanded child.

"2 days only, what energy do you need? You just want to tease me bastard!" Mac scolded the reflection in the mirror, catching the Disney princess moment Nan threw himself forward on his stomach, throwing a tantrum on the bed.

" Lonely...I'm Mr. Lonely... I have nobody...for MY OWNNNNNN..." sung loudly hurt Mac's ears so much, the man dropped his skincare routine to stare down at the pouting baby.

Fierce eyes meeting gleeful ones, happiness won, pulling Mac successfully onto bed for 'activities'.

The next morning

" You two, help Wei!" Nan pointed at Ai and Puck.

" You. Take it slow" reprimanding Wei of his burns, pointing at one Nong after another, issuing orders and assigning duties.

When it came to Mac however, he was beaten, a finger poking his chest instead.

" You, behave!"

" Don't go punching people, no heroics with the police and return soon. Got it?!" had Nan nodding furiously, his nong's giggling at the back, all currently because one would cry out loud later, Nan whacking a back on his way out.
