" P'Day is coming over, both of us are leaving for a job in Bangsaen. Are you coming?" asked Nan putting his t-shirt on. Mac had just woken up late on a weekend and did not feel like going anywhere, moreover with Day. He had accepted his fate but did not want to spend anymore time than necessary with Day and with Nan by his side, he did not want to ruin the fragile calm that had descended between them. Nan was not so violent anymore but he wouldn't push it with that Psycho.
"No...I'll stay here and visit the track" said Mac yawning.
"Fine. Don't stay in bed too long, go down and have breakfast. Don't let me hear you skipping again Mac" Nan warned. Mac pulled a long face. It was once, and he was late to a meeting, rushing to get into his car to beat traffic, waving off Wei's call for breakfast and leaving his lunchbox behind. Nan had come by at lunch, with wrapped food only for Mac to discover it was rolls wrapped with shrimp and a lot of vegies. He hated it but it was Nan's punishment for skipping food that morning. Half gagging, half disgusted, he kept eating or Nan threatened to shove it down his throat himself.
"hhmm..." and Mac sat up, rubbing his face, wiping away the last remnants of sleep. He watched blearily as Nan approached, bending down to touch his head.
"No.....Haven't brush..." Mac whined, swatting Nan's face away with his hands. Smirking, Nan clutched both wrist in one hand firmly, grabbing Mac's hair on the other gently, holding him in place as Nan pressed deeply, nudging his lips open, licking his teeth, angling his head to catch that small runaway tongue, kissing passionately. Mac tasted stale and soft against Nan's lips. Plus, it wasn't the worse Nan had licked, that tongue having explored Mac's intimate places, pink and furled. Shameless bastard!
Nan let go with one final lick, messing Mac's hair vigorously while he stared annoyed.
" Pyscho!" Mac muttered under his breath.
" I heard that!" Nan yelled, waving pointedly at Mac while walking out the door.
Mac stretched long before standing up to take a shower. Walking downstairs an hour later, he took a stroll to the garden, seeing his children swimming. Smiling to himself, he walked back into the kitchen and stopped! Itt was here, at the table, eating?
" Oh hi Mac!...come here...try this...Wei made some sala pao [steamed buns].. they're still warm" Itt excitedly invited Mac.
" why are you here? Did you not go with Day?" asked Mac, leaning against the kitchen counter, picking up a bun.
" No... They will be back only in the evening.. There is nothing for me to do there. so I thought I'd come here and race a bit before the field opens for the night" said Itt munching away.
" Hey Itt...Ai Itt!....Oh Mac! You're up...Hia said to prepare lunch for you. Let me know what you want and I'll make them yeah" said Wei walking in from the back door. Turning to Itt, he stood with his hands on his hips.
" The boys just said there are pieces of metal on the track, from the crash last night. They are clearing it up but it will take a couple of hours...Sorry Itt...I can't let you race now" Wei said apologetically.
"ouw... then what am I to do until Day gets back?" Dejected, Itt put his bun down.
" Maybe go to the mall?" Wei suggested. Itt's face frowned, contemplating the idea before sitting up straight in his chair suddenly with a wide smile.
" Ai Mac...let's go the mall..." invited Itt, looking at him. Mac's gaze flicked to Wei and back to Itt, not too sure about the situation. After the incident with Itt and Day, he has never spent time alone with Itt, only in Nan's presence on the track or when Day visits the office once in awhile.
