The Unexpected Couple of the Century : Part 01

" Are you parked in the valet area?" Ms. Yin asked as they reached the bottom of the grand hotel staircase, reluctantly releasing his arm.

" No. They were full when I arrived. Luckily I snagged one in the basement. Not too far from the lift lobby, Khun Yin".

Besides his dashing looks and breathtaking height, it was his impeccable manners that made Eua stand out to her all night. As far as she's witnessed and experienced through adulthood, with good looks and riches like Eua, men grew rude and arrogant, much to her dislike. She didn't care much about the business proposal, for her manager could help her handle it as always, but this man definitely made her want to be involved hands on in this upcoming joint venture, more personally than work.

Yes, venture, because she had already decided to partner with Eua and Mac of course, the man coming down silently to stand by Eua's side. He too, was incredibly handsome, but her eyes caught the simple wedding band, definitely new by the shine, adorning his left finger. If there was one thing she swore never to do, was to get involved with married man.

The headache and karma weren't worth it.

" P'Eua, I'll make a move. His already here" Mac takes his leave as he waved at a man in a sleeveless shirt and straight cut Levi's, having just driven up to the lobby upon sighting his husband.

" Khun Yin, it was a pleasure to meet you. Will speak to you soon on the amendments, thank you." Mac politely bowed, but she was too smitten on the dimple Eua's smile carved on his right cheek to do anything other than nod absentmindedly.

" Bye Mac. See you Monday" the insanely handsome man waved off Mac and to Nan, who rolled his eyes at the gesture, pocketing his phone. Eua only smiled at the childish act, not taking anything to heart.//His cousin will never change//

For some reason, Nan greeted his husband warmly, much to their surprise, even opening the passenger door for him, ushering him in. So unlike Nan, but Mac was treated well, hence Eua had no arguments. Not until Nan stopped him from getting in with a muscled hand to his waist, twisting and tipping him back gently to land a loud kiss to his cheek.//Muah!//

No reply forthcoming, a shocked and nervous looking Mac was promptly dropped into his seat, his driver closing his door and waltzing over to his own seat. Blushing furiously, not even looking up at P'Eua or the valet attendants gawking from the counter, Mac kept his head down, comfortably leaning back into his seat, accepting the palm coming to rest on his thigh. That was definitely meant for him, Eua concluded, simply knowing Nan too well. That jealous bastard!

Ms. Yin speaking however tore his attention from his thoughts.

"Shall we call the valet to pick your car?" she suggested, trying to buy time with this man , not wanting to end the night early. Eua wasn't paying her any extra attention for her to invite him for a drink yet, so she waited for him to notice her interest and in Eua's defense, he definitely did. He had been among many socialites to notice the smiles, the appreciative glances, subtle touches Khun Yin had been sending him all night. The Universe thanked, well herself // atleast he wasn't clueless like Mac// she moaned.

"It's okay, Khrup. Allow me to usher you to your car, I'll collect mine from the basement myself. No worries." Politely declining, he takes a polished step forward, in hopes of coaching Yin to play along, the other picking up social cues to follow him to the valet area.

" Take care Khrup. See you." and Yin lost herself in those intense eyes, appreciating the long fingers shielding her from hitting the roof of her newly arrived car. Smiling her sweetest, they bid goodbye to each other, with very different intentions for the future.
