"Lord Brennan Lee Mulligan." Taemin greeted, walking up to Brennan who was sat on his throne in the dark, wet, underground abandoned car park the Intrepid Heroes used as their base.
"What is it Taemin? Roll for permission to speak to me." said Brennan. Taemin rolled the dice.
"Nineteen. You may speak." said Brennan.
"Lord Brennan, King Philippe just announced that there's a secret princess! The intelligence that Jinki gathered was correct!"
Jinki looked on from behind Taemin, an obviously conflicted feeling present in his eyes, only concealed from Brennan's watchful gaze by the darkness.

"Excellent." said Brennan, "Tell Yonghwa to call Mikey, Frank and Ray, we will kidnap her tomorrow night!"
"Yes Lord Brennan." said Taemin, unable to hide his excitement at the thought of such an important mission as he shrunk back into the darkness with Jinki.

"Taemin... do you really want to do this?" asked Jinki. One night Taemin had come home to their shared apartment and he was just different, and he had continued to go out every night after that, each night coming back less like himself. Eventually Taemin had told the older man to follow him and Jinki had been welcomed into the Intrepid Heroes. Everyone in the gang had the same lifeless look in their eyes, and Jinki just couldn't understand why. He guessed it had something to do with Brennan's dice, but that still didn't answer why he wasn't under Brennan's control in the same way as everyone else.
"Of course! Helping Lord Brennan capture the princess is my dream!" Taemin exclaimed.

"Lord Brennan!" came a voice from the other side of the car park, "My brother wishes to join the Intrepid Heroes!" Jinki and Taemin came back into the light surrounding Brennan's throne to get a better look at the newcomers. It was Mikey and a man that Jinki didn't recognise. Suddenly their eyes met and Jinki realised that this man must be in the same situation as him.
"Perfect." said Brennan and he once again got his dice out and subtlety rolled them "Yes.. nat twenty." he whispered. Jinki looked back over to the new man but there was no change, he didn't look like the other Intrepid Heroes. He knew he had to talk to this man... Gerard Way.
