Chapter 9: Kiel Shipyard

Kiel, Germany

Hunley and Z23 arrive at Kiel Shipyard in Kiel and notice the new construction of U-Boat Pens into the harbor where they can conduct the Baltic Campaign against the Sirens and Northern Parliament, but right now the reason for their visit is to inspect the new port while at the same time talk with the submarine who is putting in mines around the port for defense. His name is KMS Seal or HMS Seal (Hipper Seal) who is a minelayer submarine. He used to be a member of the Royal Navy until he was capture during the Second Great War and become the new member to Iron Blood.  They can see Admiral Hipper watching at the distance and inform Seal where to put the mines.

Hipper(shout): "PUT A COUPLE OF MINES OVER THERE!"

Seal(shout): "YES MADAM!"

Seal continue doing his job while Hipper keeping an eye on Seal until she notice Z23 and Hunley approach her.

Hipper: "What do you want Z23?"

Z23: "We want to make sure that the base is operational."

Hipper: "I make sure it does. Unlike certain someone who is busy daydreaming."

Everyone notice Prinz Eugen staring at the sea with her rig activate which Z23 is confuse of what's going on so she approach Prinz Eugen while Hunley is staring at Hipper which makes her uncomfortable with a blank stare.

Hipper(confuse): "What do you want?"

Hunley continue to stare and decide to stay near by her while Hipper continue operating with Seal who is planting mines around the port for protection. After everything is done; Seal approach the shores and approach Hipper.

Seal: "All done Hipper."

Hipper kiss Seal on the cheek before she was notice by Hunley which Seal is confuse of who she is.

Seal: "Another member?"

Hipper: "I believe she's living with Mother right now, but yes; however Bismarck doesn't trust her since we don't know where she's from, but Mother supports Hunley so there's nothing to do, but listen to Mother."

Seal bend to Hunley's level and pat her head which she likes it and cause her to move her tail like crazy.

Seal: "I bet she would be good friend with Kiel."

Kiel is the daughter of Hipper and Seal. Kiel is playing with the fishes on the water which Hipper shout to her to come here.

Hipper(shout): "IT'S TIME TO GO KIEL!"

Kiel: "Yes Mommy."

Kiel got off the water and summon her ship to the water before heading to her mom and dad which Hunley notice Kiel which they both approach to each other and talk about what kind of stuff they can do before it was getting dark. Z23 return from talking with Prinz Eugen and their other sister KMS Blucher arrive with an escort of transport trucks that is ready to unload the supplies to the newly built pens.

Blucher: "I hope everything is ready."

Hipper: "Yes; Seal put minelayers across the water for defense and we make sure that it doesn't trigger to any friendly ships."

The mines was develop by Isaac to act as sensor mines. If a friendly ship that enter the water; the ship won't be blown up by the mines, but an enemy warship will get blown up. The trucks is unloading the supplies while everyone is having a break at a nearby bar, but safe for kids. Hunley and Kiel is playing in the park while the adults are talking at the bench side. Everyone is drinking beer while the kids is drinking juice.

Hipper: "Did you got any message from Silver?"

Prinz Eugen: "He's still working in Sakura Empire with Akashi, but so far; everything is good."

Seal: "Sucks to have a long distance relationship."

Prinz Eugen agree and the kids continue playing in the park until Hunley bump into someone which is Tirpitz who has return from the North. Everyone notice her.

Hipper: "Tirpitz; welcome home."

Tirpitz: "I'm back everyone."

Prinz Eugen: "How's the North?"

Tirpitz: "The main port in Norway is finish and we're going to move our fleet further north to the Arctic to fight against the Sirens, but we need Isaac to help develop anti-freeze equipment before we moving up."

Tirpitz sit down, but notice Hunley staring at her which makes her confuse of why she is staring at her until Hunley is sitting on her lap and eating her biscuits that Seal give to her for a snack. Tirpitz decide to give her a pat on the head while talking with the others.

Prinz Eugen: "At least one of the Bismarck-Class likes her."

Tirpitz: "Sorry if my sister is causing problems for you Hunley. I wish she can relax for a bit and see some goodness in you. Don't worry about me caution around you."

This makes Hunley happy before she fell asleep on her lap.

Prinz Eugen: "I would be bad if Mother found out that she is getting replace."

Tirpitz(worry): "Please don't."

They continue to talk until it was time to leave, but Hunley won't leave Tirpitz's lap so Tirpitz grab her and put her in the car with Z23 who needs to head for the main base of Iron Blood so she can deliver her reports to Bismarck which Tirpitz decide to come with them since she needs to talk with Bismarck about moving the operation further into Arctic Region

Time Skip
Bismarck Office, Iron Blood Base

Tirpitz arrive at Bismarck's Office after couple of days of driving from Kiel Shipyard and she has Hunley in her arms which Bismarck is shock to see a kansen in her sister's arms before Tirptiz put Hunley on the couch.

Bismarck: "How's the North?"

Tirpitz: "Request permission to move the operation further North into Arctic Region?"

Bismarck: "Granted."

Tirpitz is about to head out, but after she put a blanket on Hunley so she can sleep.

Tirpitz: "She isn't a threat to everyone Bismarck. At least spend some time with her."

Tirpitz left while Bismarck stare at Hunley who is sleeping and decide to sleep in the office since it's bad for a child to be left alone without a guardian.

Meanwhile
SIA, Sakura Empire

There's a female kansen sitting on her chair wearing a military outfit with two Sakuran emblems on her shoulder pad including a red kimono. She got the report of the new kansen in Iron Blood from Bismarck which she wants help for investigation.

???: "Don't worry about it Lady Bismarck. SIA is on the case."
