Chapter 13: Hide and Seek

Sub-Pen, Iron Blood Base

Hunley is heading to her new location where her newly submarine is holding up, but looks like trouble has arrive when she notice a large group of kansens which is the U-Boat squadron led by U-556 which she is the shiny knight for Bismarck.

556: "Hey there Hunley. Want to play a game with us?"

Hunley(confuse): "Game?"

101: "Come on 556; you make the poor girl confuse. What she mean is that you want to place hide and seek with us. We want you find us across the base within a time limit of half hour. Want to?"

Hunley agree of playing hide and seek with the U-Boats which make the submarines happy.

556: "Make sure you count to 10 before starting and close your eyes."

Hunley close her eyes and count to 10 before starting to find them. She has finish counting to 10 and how it's hunting time. She manage to find two of the submarine which one is hiding in the fountain while one is sleeping on the bench which Hunley is confuse of why she isn't hiding which the sleeping U-Boat say that she got tired of running. Hunley manage to find another one at the balcony which she notice her rig's tail sticking out while another U-Boat touch Hunley in the should which she's confuse.

Hunley: "I thought I was already it."

That shock the U-Boat of realization and how she messed up before she got caught by Hunley. While at the same time; Bismarck was walking through the hallway of the office along with Nijmegen who is overlooking at the documents about the situation at the port in Northern Europe which Tirpitz request to move the port upper.

Nijmegen: "Looks like it's going to be a while before we move our forces upward."

Bismarck listen to Nijmegen suggestion until she can hear noises outside which they notice Hunley playing hide and seek with the U-Boats which makes them happy. Nijmegen notice it and was smiling, but Bismarck continue to have a serious look on her face.

Nijmegen(happy): "Looks like the submarines are having fun with Hunley. What do you think? Bismarck?"

Nijmegen notice Bismarck didn't paying attention and continue walking the hallway which Nijmegen chase after her before doing their next job. At the same time Hunley continue to hunt down the U-Boats across the base until one remains which is U-557 who is waiting for Hunley's arrival at the lake.

Time Skip
Lake, Iron Blood

Hunley is facing against U-557 who is sitting on her rig with a serious look on her face. She isn't the type to be capture easy unlike the other U-Boats because her title as the Knight of Bismarck is on the line.

557: "I'm surprise that you made it this far, but unlike those submarines. I don't go down that easy."

Hunley charge at 557 which cause 557 to make a big leap above Hunley's head which Hunley is staring at her.

557: "I'm not going down like that. My the proud knight of Bismarck."

However, her words was meaningless when Hunley manage to grab the tail of 557's rig and cause 557 to crash into the ground before Hunley touch her. 557 was shock that she was capture that easily, but she was happy that she have a chance to play with Hunley.

557: "Thank you for playing with us Hunley. Can we be friends?"

Hunley nod and is happy that she played with her friends which the entire U-Boat squad arrive with a smile on their face which they decide to dog pile on 557 and Hunley. Everything is going great until Friedrich was calling for Hunley.

Friedrich: "Hunley; it's time to head back."

Hunley: "Yes mom."

Hunley left while the U-Boats return to the sub-pen to put their rigs away while at the same time Hunley went with Friedrich who is happy that she is playing with new friends.

Friedrich: "How's your friends?"

Hunley: "Their great mom."

Friedrich was happy, but she has another thing in mind which she told Hunley that Friedrich is going with Bismarck to the Sakura Empire to created a Crimson Road which is a improve supply route between Iron Blood and Sakura Empire. Bismarck and Nagato both agree since it's going to provide Sakura Empire some tech from Iron Blood and improve relationships between the two nations.

Friedrich: "I'm going to the Sakura Empire with Bismarck to discuss about our supply routes. Want to come with me?"'

This makes Hunley happy and agree to joined her mother and Bismarck since she wants to see the world. She never been to the Sakura Empire so this is going to be a good experience for her. They both hold hands and heading back to the dorm for the night, but unknown to them is that they been watched by the Royal Navy spies which they report their findings to Queen Elizabeth before heading back.

Meanwhile
Bismarck's Office, Iron Blood

Bismarck is finish with the reports while Nijmegen offer her coffee before it's to for bed. Nijmegen was able to put the stuff away and escort Bismarck to her dorm.

Bismarck: "Tomorrow I want you to watch over the base while me and Friedrich are gone to the Sakura Empire."

Nijmegen: "I make sure the base continue run as normal and I make sure that I report everything to you if something comes up."

She was happy that Nijmegen remembers the tactics that she give him during his first time as her secretary.

Port, Iron Blood

Bismarck is having a shocking face when she learn that Hunley is coming with them on their adventure toward the Sakura Empire which she question Friedrich of why Hunley is here.

Bismarck(angry): "Why is Hunley doing here?"

Friedrich: "That's because I want her to come with us. Don't want her to be alone."

This anger Bismarck, but decide to ignore it so everyone is ready to head out to the Sakura Empire.
