42. Glasses

After Bemo found out she was to say the least over the moon with joy, asking questions about how it happened and such.

Once she was done fangirling over them she asked the question that had been bugging Jude for a while , "did you tell your family" Jude shook his head with a hint of guilt knowing that they would most likely be happy. There was silence for a while before Bemo spoke again, "why?" Jude looked at her and explained how he wanted their relationship to be private before they told anyone. Bemo understood and swore herself to secrecy before saying that she had to go because she was meeting up with Rose. Jude decided to go meet up with Connor but, before He left the restaurant he grabbed some take out for Connor knowing he that he hadn't eaten yet since he has been set on working on his truck ever since school let out.

Jude walked in and greeted Pete who told him that Connor was I back. Jude thanked him and walked out back to see Connor working on his truck with his bum in the air. Jude whistled at him and Connor snaps his head up and hit his head on the hood. Connor was wearing a navy blue jumpsuit and was cover in grease he wore a red and black cap backwards that had a few hairs poking out. After Connor hit his head he took a rag from his pocket and wiped his hands and started rubbing his head while walking towards Jude, "hey what's up" he said to Jude. Jude smiled at him and said, "I brought you some food" holding up the takeout bag. "Thanks I'm starving" Connor said taking the bag and giving Jude a peck on the cheek. Connor pulled out two stools from behind the truck and gestured for Jude to sit with him. He opened the bag and started eating the burger and fries Jude got him. Jude sat down and watched Connor for a while before speaking, " so how's the truck coming along?". Connor looked up from his burger and said through a mouthful , it's good I just changed the battery and I fixed the brakes earlier should be finished soon". Connor finished his food and grabbed Jude, "hey do you wanna do something after I change like catch a movie I think I'm done for today" Jude smiled and replied ,"yeah sounds great but I think you should change though". Connor smiled at him , "what don't like my grease monkey suit" He said with his arms wrapped around Jude's waist. Jude put his arms around Connors neck and said," I love your grease monkey suit" and gave Connor a kiss then pulled out of Connors grasp. "But you stink" Jude said pinching his nose for exaggeration Connor laughed and said ,"ok wait here I'll go change and we can go" Connor went to the bathroom and came back a few minutes later wearing glasses and skinny jeans and some red flannel. Jude looked at Connor for a moment before walking up and taking his glasses "are these real" Jude asked while putting them on and immediately went blind, "woah they are when did you get glasses?" Jude asked handing them back to Connor. Connor put back on his glasses blushing "I got them when I was in ninth grade I think but I've been wearing contacts but today I ran out". Jude smiled at Connor I like them, you look really good in them". Connor blushed profusely before giving Jude a kiss as thanks and putting an arm over his shoulder ,"so how about that movie".
