38. Double Date

Jude and Connor walked up the porch it had been about a week since the kiss and they were coming back from the junk yard where Connor was fixing up his truck, Once they got to the door they said there good byes and Connor walked home. "Hey I'm home" Jude said as he walked in. "In the kitchen" Jude heard in response. Jude walked in the kitchen and saw Stef sitting at the table looking through some papers while Lena was at the counter pouring some tea. "Hey Judicorn want some tea" Lena said handing a cup to Stef "Thanks Hun" Stef said in response. Jude declined and grabbed a cup from the cupboard and poured himself some juice and went into the living room to watch some TV.

Jude was watching Game of Thrones when got a text he searched his pockets and found his phone and opened it to find a text from Bemo it read "Please do me a favor". Instinctively Jude replied with haste thinking that some thing was wrong

Texts between Bemo and Jude:

Jude: Hey whats the matter are you alright?!?!

Bemo: Yeah I just need a favor.

Jude: Yeah anything.

Bemo: Go on a double date with me.

Jude: What why!?!?

Bemo: Because your my best friend ;)

Jude: Ha try again.

Bemo: See remember that hot pizza waitress I told you about?

Jude: Yeah.

Bemo: Well I finally got a date with her but then I opened my big mouth and suggested a group date.

Jude: Okayyyyyy so who am I going with.

Bemo: See that's the funny part she asked the same question and I kinda said that you had a boyfriend.

Jude: What why!?!

Bemo: Because I was making conversation.

Jude: Did you tell her a fake name or something.

Bemo: No I might have told her a little lie and said that you were dating Connor.

Jude: Nope that's the end I'm not helping you nope. nope. nope.

Bemo: FINE.

Jude: FINE.

Bemo: Please ;(

Bemo: Please.

Jude: FINE just stop spamming me with texts.

Bemo: THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU!

Jude: So what should I tell Connor?

Bemo: IDK dude that your problem now bye BTW the dates tonight at six at TGI Fridays.

Jude turned off the TV and texted Connor asking if he would wanna go to TGI Fridays with him around six, which he got a Yes in response. Jude decided that he would fill him in on the way there. Jude went upstairs and started getting ready since it was almost five thirty. After Jude got dressed he went down stairs into the kitchen where he surfed on tumblr until Connor came.

Connor was getting ready to go hangout with Jude little did he know what lied ahead for him. Once he was ready he grabbed his house keys and his mom's car keys, since she said that he could borrow them and drove to Jude's house.

Once he was there he walked up the path and up the porch then knocked on the door twice. It opened to reveal Jude looking more dashing then usual, but Connor didn't mention it and they got into the car and started driving to the restaurant.

Jude was restless in the passenger seat trying to word what was going on eventually they stopped at a red light and Connor gave him a questioning look. "You okay over there I don't need to pull over or something right" Connor asked with a concerned tone. "Yeah it's just that umm... Well see... Bemo kinda maybe might have set up a double date and said that you and I were a couple" Jude said looking down. "Umm... so what are we gonna do" Connor said in a calm tone which surprised Jude. "Well I mean we could fake it" Jude said looking at Connor. Connor gave a hum then responded "OK".

After about five minutes they arrived and went inside where they met with Bemo and whom he guessed was the "Pizza waitress" who surprisingly looked very familiar. They sat down and shook hand with the "Pizza waitress" whom introduced herself as Rose she had pale skin with freckles along with bright blue eyes and a multi colored pixie cut, she was wearing black leggings with black combat boots and a graphic tee with a red and black flannel. After about five minutes of small talk they ordered. about half way through the meal rose asked Connor and Jude how they met and everyone stopped eating. Connor was the first to respond, " Well see in seventh grade Jude moved here and I was running late to school and just so happened to run past the office but was called in by the vice principle and there I saw Jude he was so shy and small back then and delicate..." Connor reached for Jude's hand across the table and intertwined their fingers , "I remember thinking that he was so shy at the time I hoped that I could fix that at first, but then after I got to know him I realized that there was nothing to fix because he was being himself and to me that was and still is one of the most amazing people I know" Jude was holding on to every word while Connor rubbed circles with his thumb on the back of their intertwined hands, they were brought out of there trans by an "Awwww" and looked to see rose with a wide grin on her face. Both of them blushed frantically and Connor said,"Well what can I say I'm a sucker for light brown hair and dark brown eyes" which he earned a laugh from both Bemo and Rose.

After they finished their food they all said their goodbyes and were on they're way to the fosters house. On they're way there it was completely silent until Jude spoke, "Hey did you mean all of that back there?" Jude asked. Connor glanced at Jude "Every last word". Once they arrived at the foster's house Connor walked Jude to the door "Thanks I had a good time maybe next time we can do this for real" Connor said with a smile looking down. "Yeah" Jude said smiling and then went inside and closed the door behind him. After about two seconds of being inside Jude opened the door and yelled Connors name then ran up to him and pulled him into a passionate kiss then pulled away and looked into his eyes, "I wanna do this for real". Connor looked back at him, "But what about the Rul-" Connor was cur off by Jude. "I dont care about the stupid rules screw em'" Jude said hanging his arms around Connors neck while Connors' were around his waist. "Ok lets do it" Connor said smiling. "Yeah?" Jude said with a million dollar smile. "Yeah" Connor said.
