Chapter 5: Understanding

*V's pov*

{I look down as we walk silently, until the silence is broken by Lizzy saying something that made me blush "so, how much do you like J? reply from 1 to 10" I stop and turn to Lizzy who has a smirk on her face as I growl "for fuck's sake, I don't like her!" and then Thad added to my point by saying "yeah, Liz besides even if she does we shouldn't pry into that stuff without her consent."

I feel relief that he says that which ends the conversation, and for the rest of the walk it is dead silent, we get to the cabin and I open the door as the three of us enter the cabin, N leaps up with excitement and runs over to us, seems like he's just happy for us to be here, I sigh and I move over to my room, and J was already in the pajamas, I guess we walked for a long time, either way she looks cute-}

J's pov

[I read my book quietly, and I see V enter the room look tired I turn to her with curiosity in my eyes "back from your walk" she is just quiet, and then sits on her bed, staring at something. she simply says "it's only the first day and I'm already tired" I close my book and sit in front of her on the bed, I stare at her eyes as she looks down "V, are you okay?" she says quietly "I'm fine, I just haven't slept well...yeah, I haven't slept well." I frown and I say as I place my hand on hers which makes her quickly turn to me, and we lock eyes for a moment that feels like eternity.

I say "you're not fine, are you?" she looks away and shakes her head, I stare at her with eyes filled with understanding as she says "things just haven't been great for a while, wayyy before we came to the cabin. I guess I'm just going through some things..But I don't want to talk about them" I nod and I say "alright when I turn to our hands who seem to be entangled together and I pull away blushing, I get up and move toward the door before I leave I turn to V "you can talk to me whenever you want" she nods and I leave.]

V's pov

{I don't think I've ever seen J be so caring, I groan as I get into my pajamas and it's all good until I hear Uzi yelling "IT'S NOT MY FAULT THAT YOU LEFT IT THERE!" and then I hear J's voice "Well you should know what it means to MIND YOUR OWN FUCKING BUSINESS!" I rush out of the room and I see J and Uzi arguing, I run down the stairs and move over to Lizzy, Thad and N. I know for sure N is getting overstimulated and about to cry so I sigh and I say to N, "alright bud I'm gonna get you noise cancelling headphones" I rush upstairs and I grab N's noise cancelling headphones as I rush back downstairs and I put give them to N as he puts them on and continues on with his life.

I turn to Lizzy and Thad as I ask "what happened now?"}

AN: this chapter was a bit shorter but i'm in a rush so this is what I can write right now,
