Chapter 7: lost with 2 idiots

(btw in this au J smokes from time to time so tw bc this chapter will mention cigarettes)

J'S POV.

(I look around growling to myself "great, i'm lost with two idiots" N starts to panic as I turn to him with a hateful glare as I growl at him "shut up or i'll make sure to silence you myself" he decided to be smart and quieted down. I mark a tree with an X to make sure that I knew if we were already here before, I sigh loudly as I continue walking. It is quite nice and quiet, very calming too and I decide that I want to go out here more, by myself though. I don't want to be near N or the toaster they are way too annoying. it continues to remain quiet until my peace is interrupted by N's squeaky voice "I don't like the texture of the ground!!!" I murmur back "and I don't like the sound of your voice but we have to put up with it either way so shut up" the toaster then says "hey! don't be rude to N!! you know how sensitive he is to this" I roll my eyes as I mumble to myself "I swear she babies him way too much"

TIME SKIP: 50 minutes

I roll my eyes and I turn to N and the toaster as he's showing the toaster a bug he found, I growl to myself and then I say "I don't want to lead, anymore someone take the lead" the toaster rolls her eyes and goes in front of me as we continue walking silently, who knows how long it will be till we get home?)

UZI'S POV

(I roll my eyes as I take the lead, N walks besides me with a wagging tail, I turn to him as I give him a reassuring smile, I then turn to J who seems to have something in her hand, looks like she's hiding it so I decide to ask "what's that in your hand?" she quickly places it in her pocket and says "uhmm a pen" I feel suspicious but I shrug it off and I turn back to walking, I try to make sure that I'm following the footsteps from where we came from, but they are almost washed out, I don't know how long we've been walking for but it sure is a lot, I then decide to strike up a conversation "SO, where did you learn to draw like that? " she huffs and says "I guess since forever, I just find drawing a form of therapy.." I nod, it makes sense I guess.

I continue walking till I trip and fall on my face, I then hear J burst out laughing and I raise my head to see N with a look on concern on his face as he asks "you good?" I roll my eyes as I get up and brush the mud off of me and I say "mhm all good, I just fell on my fucking face" N pats my head as he says "there there" I smile slightly and I continue walking, I then hear something icky and J then yells "EWWW what is that? I stepped on something icky! EW EW EW EWEWEWEWEWEWEWEWEWEWWWW!!!!" she whines as she continues "GET IT OFF EWWW! It's so icky!! why is it green?!" I turn to J who is shaking her foot furiously, I yell louder than her "SHUT UP YOU'LL TAKE A SHOWER WHEN WE GET HOME!" N then adds with a worried tone "if we even get home" I look at N and say "don't worry we'll get home, eventually" at this point J had already stopped shaking her foot and continued walking but hopped every now and then.)

J'S POV
(I could really use some alone time.. Ugh I'm so stressed!!! I would smoke right now but I can't since I'm not that much of a monster to smoke near people. But I just stepped on something so horrible, and I'm stuck with two idiots!!! at least it's better than being alone in the dark... I'm stuck with my thoughts until I hear N say "I like how the ground went from squishy and soft grass to hard like a path!" the toaster then adds "oh wait- I THINK THIS IS THE PATH THAT WE WERE ON AT THE START!!" I rush over to them and push them out of the way to see, they both fall as I chuckle to that but then I see the path. I decide to run over to it, I then see N and the toaster trying to catch up as N screams "J!!! WAIT FOR USSSS!!!" I speed up, as the wind flows through my hair as the trees move beautifly, I then get tired and the toaster and N catch up to me as the toaster hits me in the back of my head as she says "don't run off like that!!" I look at her and then I turn to the path, there it was the cabin, as V and Thad were waiting outside, V looks annoyed and Thad looks concerned. Meanwhile Lizzy is on her phone.

We speed up our paces and we reach them, V says "What took you so long?!" I respond "we got lost-" Thad then goes and whines "I'M SO SORRY I DIDN"T MEAN FOR YOU GUYS TO GET LOSTT!!!!" N and the toaster are talking to Lizzy as I then remember about my foot, I enter a panic.)

V'S POV

(I feel relieved that they got home and then I notice J look panicked she says "I stepped on something icky so I need to wash it off SORRY" she hopps quickly up the stairs and into our room she slams the door and we hear the shower turn on, I take a moment to process that. She must have felt stressed, come to think of it I'm surprised that she wasn't smoking, then again I'm the only one who knows, cuz' I'm her best friend but still. I can't help but feel bad for her, I then proceed to ask them about what happened. I'm glad that they are home)

AN: sorry for posting later I had therapy, anyway In this au the drones can take showers and wash their hands, and every now and then drink water, because water to them is like alc0h0l. anyway hope you enjoy!!
