Chapter 1: A vacation?

**In this au, summer exists in copper 9, and all the worker drones were let off for vacations and holidays. But, the disassembly drones don't really know what that's about, so some of their friends will invite them into going on vacation (also, the disassembly drones got a house now :3)**



**J's pov**

[I groaned lightly as I managed to pull my body up from laying on the floor with boredom, I decided I might just try to read one of those books that the toaster mentioned. I walked over to the bookshelf that N had tried to build for Uzi and I grabbed a book, I didn't read the cover since I didn't feel like wasting time on doing that.

A few minutes in of reading I heard a voice call out my name, I groaned and rolled my eyes as I close the book and move over to the living room and I see N and V's friends, I think their names were Thad and Lizzy? ugh and the toaster was there, I grumble "What is it?? I was busy trying to read one of those weird books that the toaster mentioned" Uzi stands up quickly as she calls out "AHA! I KNEW YOU WOULD END UP READING THEM!" I roll my eyes in annoyance as I say "yeah, yeah whatever- anyway, what happened?" I then notice that thad, N, V, Lizzy were all looking at the phone in Lizzy's hand, I move over to see as I push N off the couch and I sit to see what's in the phone and then I see something that looks like a cabin "ummm, so why are you guys looking at that? you're acting like it is majestic or something" I question and Lizzy looks up at me and says "well we're going to the cabin!! We'll stay there throughout the entire summer!"

I sigh, great! i'm gonna have to live with twice the amount of idiots during summer. V looks up at the other drones and says "hey, I hear that since a lot of drones want to stay there so we'd better leave tomorrow!" I shrug, Thad then said "I agree, we better start packing" oh shit- We have to pack now??? I start to shake a bit with how much anxiety is starting to flow, like 'what if we don't pack soon enough?? they will leave us behind!' or 'we need to pack everything important!' I then shake my head and I say "" ok, so I'm just gonna go pack quickly" I rush upstairs to my room to pack.]

[We leave tomorrow!]

**V's pov**

{I watch J rush up the stairs, I get a bit concerned, because I feel like I was the only one who saw her hands shaking. I shrug it off, probably just the adrenaline, I stand up and I stretch my arms as I turn to the other drones and I say; "Yeah I think I'll go pack too, Can't spend the entire summer without my stuff" my tail twitches as I go over to my room and I overhear J struggling a bit with packing her stuff.

I peek through the half-open door and I see her tail moving from one side to another, desperately trying to organize her stuff neatly, I frown at seeing her like this.. But I can't interfere. "I wanna help" I say to myself, but apparently I'd said it too loudly because she looked at me, her tail stopped swiveling and it placed itself in a formerly manner, my eyes widen and I smile awkwardly as I say "sorry I just saw you struggling-" she looks down and looks up at me and says "No-! I mean- no, I don't need your help!" I nod sighing and I move to my own room.

I enter my room and I start to pack some extra clothes and I start packing my bag. As soon as I'm done I take flight, processing what had happened with J, oh well I guess that's just her perfectionist side}
