When the sun goes down
and the night comes in,
I'd go searchin' for comfort
in places I've never been. When the light is off and
darkness takes over,
I'd think about the old days
when seconds felt like forever. When the horizon splits apart
and midnight fantasies rolled inside,
I'd crawl back to the time
when you are still by my side. When the moonlight finds ways
to my room and speak for
all these empty spaces,
I'd bleed for the love unknown
amidst your warm embrace. But when morning comes and
the sun rises again,
I'd wipe the tears I never shed
throughout my pain.When daylight takes
me back in reality
where you ain't King,
I'd play games and
win like a Queen.—georginariver
