Chapter 7. Face Off

Aya was beyond excited about today's plan. She was happy her relative tagged along to see her newfound friends. They asked their driver to drop them at their meeting place.

Aya spotted the group right away. Sheen was thinking, the group looks familiar. She followed her cousin and greeted the first person named Mikha. It surprised the group to realize who they were about to face.

Aya, why are you associating yourself with these people? This group is not nice at all and drags Aya off from them. She was very furious, while Aya seems confused about what was going on. She saw them forcing Gwen to come forward.

Heee...yyy wait up! Please, before you walk away. Gwen faces Sheen pleading.
You monkey get lost. Sheen shoving Gwene aside from them and started walking again.

Gwene still halted them from their trance. "Please listen to me. I see there was no comparison to what I did. It was the most foolish prank, and I know I couldn't take it back. But I am sorry. Gwen besought them to stick around.

Do try to get to know us first, and I can assure you we are good people. Gwene added, staring at Sheen.

Aya stopped Sheen from their tracks and whispered something to her. Aya was hoping she can convince her cousin to stay, despite whatever incident happened between them. They walk back, but Sheen prevails with a poker face.

The group looked afraid but lent their hand and said in unison," TRUCE.... Sorry". The mighty four all posing a peace sign and pouting at the same time. Aya was smirking behind her cousin, she can see how the group looks like a lost puppy. On the other hand, her cousin remains reluctant to absolve them, but Aya jostled Sheen to accept the handshake.

Truce for today, but it doesn't mean you guys are forgiven. You traumatized me and my friends, and therefore, you need to apologize to them, too. Sheen reiterated to the group, which they do agreed.

Now, let's go before I change my mind. Sheen bolted out, holding Aya's arm.
Ye...s...... Yes... Let's go, Colete, please take the van, we don't want them to wait. Jho and Gwene cajoled Colete to get the van immediately.

Aya turned to Mikha asking for what they have done. Mikha promised her to tell the story for later, but for now, she urged everyone to go before they got caught in traffic.

Sheen requested to sit in front because she gets dizzy. Colet pushed Gwen to drive the van to at least ease the tension and start a conversation with her.

Mikha sat at the back and Aiah followed her. The rest of the group settled. No one dares to speak. Gwene tried to communicate, but every time she looked at her right, she can see an angry tiger who was ready to devour her instantly. So instead, she just played music to fill in the silent space inside the car.

They reached their destination and started walking from Fort Santiago. They followed the trails until they reach the area where they can use Bam bike ecotours.

Sheen doesn't know how to run a bike, and the group encourages Gwen to offer to ride with her. Surprisingly, Sheen accepted, but maintained her poker face. The rest get along. Mikha with Aya, Colet and Jho uses two separate bikes. They just savour the trip along the famous spots in Intramuros. The prank incident was somehow forgotten. Sheen slowly enjoying the company of her cousin's acquaintances.

They reached Barbara's Heritage and had their lunch there. They headed to the mall afterwards before they ended the day. Sheen reminded the group not to forget to deal with the rest of her friends the following weekend.
