Colete passed by the Tennis court seeing Mikhs bounces-hit the ball. Hey! Why are you in the campus this early?
Just trying to sweat before heading to class. Mikhs said, not looking at Colete.
Are you all right? Colete sounded apprehensive about her behaviour.
Huh..... Yeah, I am. Why do you ask? Mikhs swaying back the ball into her racquet. Colete stayed in the bleacher, not convinced at her friend's answer.
Mikhs can feel her friend digging a hole, watching her. She stops playing, approaches the bench and grabs her water bottle instead.
Why are you still here? Don't you have a class? She beckoned Colete.
I prefer seeing you breaking that surface than coming to my class, to be honest. Colete smirking looking at her.
Are you high or something? Too early for that. She took another swig of water.
I know you. You will not hit a wall pretending to play tennis if you were not bother. Tennis is your way of releasing either stress or your frustration. Colete looks at her, trying to read her expression. "You see, I am always here, right? You can talk to me, whatever it is." Mikhs stood up, dismissing her friend's comment, and went back to playing.
I am one phone call away once you're ready. Colete shouted, took her glance again at the court before she leaves. Aya called her this morning to check up on Mikhs. She was worried about her best friend. In the mighty four, she is the only one who could see the real Mikhaela. Colet is aware Mikhs don't like people meddling with her problem unless she asks for help.
Mikhs swayed the ball up, hits it hard out of frustration. But by doing so, she twisted her right wrist and felt a slight pain moving it after. "It was just mild compared to how bad I am hurting inside, she whispered." She has thrown her racquet back in her bag and prepared for her morning class.
It was lunchtime again, and they all gathered at the cafeteria except for Aya. Then Jho notices Mikhs arm resting on top of the table.
What happened to your right wrist? It looks swollen. Jho attempted to touch it, but Mikhs flinches.
It needs checking. What did you do anyway? Gwene commented.
I twisted it this morning. I just needed to pick up some ice, and it will be fine thereafter. She was about to take it, but Colete halted her first.
Don't move, I will bring it for you. We should go to the clinic to have it assess. Colete suggested, looking worried for her friend.
Ahh... our dear Mikha has to be babied today. Maloe gives Mikha a backhug. The scenario Aya saw approaching the group.
Hey, why are you ganging on her? Aya commented before sitting on the table. Mikhs is struggling to hide her arm away.
Trying to stop Sheen from talking, but failed in her attempt. "Ahh... your good roommate had a mishap this morning". Sheen blurted out, glaring at her.
Accident? What happened? Aya freaks out hearing it, waiting for an answer from her best friend.
I twisted my wrist while playing tennis earlier, but don't worry, shortly it will subside. Mikhs avoided Aya's gazed.
Let me see it. It did not persuade Aya by her response. She has no choice but to show it to her. Aya stood up, looking aghast, and encouraged following her.
