No, stay with our friends. I can see you are still enjoying the party. Aya insisted.
We are staying on one roof, so it is just fair to give you a ride. Mikhs stated.

I can manage Mikhs. I will just grab a cab. Aya is persistent to leave.
No, ....... Mikha heard someone approaching them.

Do not worry Mikhs, I will drive her home safe. Keiro volunteered.

It is your parent's anniversary. They will need you there. Mikha seems reluctant at Keiro's gesture.

I insist. Besides, the rest of your classmates are still here. I will protect Aya, I promised. Keiro insisted.

Suddenly, Colete and Jho calling her to join them for a game.

Do not let our friends wait. I will message you when I get home. Aya encouraged her to follow them inside. Mikha felt defeated, but she glanced back at the two people exited before entering Keiro's car.

The next morning. Mikhs woke up touching her head with a dull aching pain. Ayysss...hangover. I do not know how I even came home last night.

She gets up and walks to the kitchen. She saw Aya watching TV in the lounge. Oh, good afternoon roomie, need some coffee or juice?

Mikha just sat down in the dining area, massaging her temple. My brain feels like about to split in two. Aftereffect sucks.

Here, take these pills and drink plenty of water. I prepared some food, just reheat it if you like. Aya walks beside her. Mikha noticed Aya dressed up, and she was about to ask when they heard a car stops in front of their apartment.

Are we expecting some visitor at this hour? Mikha queried while still looking at her roommate.

Ahhh, that is my ride. Aya explained, rushing to open the door.

Hi Aya, Hi Mikhs. Keiro greeted. Mikha turned to the sound of the voice. Shocked is an understatement. She averted to Aya with a questioning expression.

Oh, I forgot to inform you. Keiro has a spare ticket to a play I was dreaming of watching, and he invited me to come with him. Aya responded to Mikha's scrutinizing gazes.

Right! Have fun. Mikha mumbled with impassive emotion which had never missed by Aya.

Bye, take some rest after you had your lunch. I will see you afterward. Aya stated before walking outside with Keiro.

At least I will have a quiet time by myself. Mikhs blurted out. She was about to eat but lost her appetite. She runs back to her room, gets a shower, and savours warm water running through her skin. Seeing her best friend so excited with someone else without her hits differently. There was a hole of sadness and fear. Mikhs ignores her thoughts and flew out instead of sulking.

Keiro visits every day after school waiting for Aya eversince that incident. Colete asked Mikhs about it.

I do not know. Why don't you ask them? Mikhs apathetically responded.
