As I roamed through the woods outside Luke Skywalker's Jedi school, the serenity of the forest offered a much-needed respite from the rigors of my training. The whispering of leaves and the song of birds filled the air, soothing my mind as I let my thoughts wander amidst the ancient trees.

Lost in contemplation, I meandered along the familiar trails, absorbing the sights and sounds of nature surrounding me. It was then that my gaze fell upon something peculiar – a small, unassuming rock nestled among the roots of a towering tree. Its subtle violet hue stood out amidst the earthy tones of the forest floor, drawing me closer with a sense of intrigue.

Kneeling down beside the rock, I reached out to touch its surface, my fingers tracing the rough texture of its weathered exterior. As I did, a strange sensation coursed through me, sending shivers down my spine. There was something unusual about this rock, something that set it apart from the others scattered around it.

With growing curiosity, I brushed away the layer of dirt and debris that obscured its true form, revealing a glimmering purple gem nestled within its craggy surface. My breath caught in my throat as I beheld the sight before me – a strange and beautiful stone unlike anything I had ever seen.

But what was it?

I couldn't shake the feeling that there was something significant about this discovery, something beyond my understanding. With furrowed brow, I turned the crystal over in my hands, searching for clues as to its origin and purpose.

As I studied the mysterious gem, a voice echoed in the back of my mind – a distant memory or perhaps a whisper from the Force itself. "Kyber crystal." It murmured, a name unfamiliar yet strangely resonant.

Kyber crystal?

The words sparked a glimmer of recognition within me, stirring something deep in my soul. But try as I might, I couldn't recall where I had heard the term before or what it meant.

With a mixture of curiosity and trepidation, I carefully pocketed the crystal and rose to my feet, my mind ablaze with questions and uncertainty. What secrets did this strange crystal hold? And what role would it play in my journey as a Jedi?

I found Ashoka in the courtyard, engrossed in her meditations beneath the shade of a towering tree. Approaching her with the purple crystal in hand felt like stepping into the presence of legend. Her aura of wisdom and experience commanded respect, yet her warm demeanor instantly put me at ease.

As I presented the crystal to her, explaining how I had stumbled upon it in the woods, Ashoka's eyes lit up with recognition.

"A kyber crystal." She murmured, her voice carrying a hint of reverence. "Rare and powerful, attuned to the Force itself. Not unlike your own, Fire Crystal."

Before I could respond, Ashoka reached into the folds of her robes and withdrew a lightsaber hilt, its silver design elegant. "This belonged to an old student of mine." she explained, her tone tinged with nostalgia. "One who sought to forge her own path, just as you do now."

I accepted the lightsaber hilt with trembling hands, feeling the weight of its history in my grasp. As I examined the intricate details etched into its surface, I couldn't help but wonder about the Jedi who had once wielded it.

With a knowing smile, Ashoka gestured toward the crystal in my hand. "It seems this crystal has chosen you, Mara. Perhaps it's time you learned how to wield its power."

"But I can barely wield the force..."

"All in time. For now trust in the force. Things always have a way of working out like they are destined to." She smiled warmly.

Her words struck a chord within me, igniting a fire of determination in my heart. With Ashoka's guidance, I knew I could unlock the secrets of the kyber crystal and fulfill my destiny as a Jedi.

If that was my destiny?
