It was all so sudden, one moment, you were in the Mirror Chamber, the next, in a dark forest. For it to be so dark outside, how much time had passed?

Unless some spell was casted around the place to make it seem more darker than it should be?

Since this was your first time, (technically second) traveling with magic, you weren't used to it and upon arriving at your destination, you almost slipped.

You really hoped Ace and Deuce didn't see that.

Deuce took a step forward, observing the area, "So this place is the Dwarf's Mine? It's so dark here... and I don't see any mines at all."

Ace merely raised an eyebrow at him,

"Are you dumb? The mines are obviously up ahead!" Before he too scanned the area, "But, hey! There's a house up ahead! Let's check it out, ya?"

Ace was indeed right, up ahead was a very small house. And even though it embarrassed you a bit to admit it, for a house in the woods, it seemed to be in much better condition than a dorm in a prestigious school..

Deuce was the first one to enter, desperate for clues, in the best possible situation ever, the house either contained what they were looking for, or! It contained a map that showed directions to the nearest magestone,

"Hello...? Anyone home? Seems no one has visited this house in quite a while. Almost like that one dorm on campus!"

You felt the tips of your ears turn red from the irony as you awkwardly looked away from Deuce's obliviousness.

"PTCHOO! I got a spider web on my face! [name] Get it off of me!"

Ace's eyes lit up, "Hey! Look at these chairs, they're so small. I wonder if I can sit down on one of them. Let's see... One two, hm, seven! Did this house belong to a bunch of clones or somethin'?"

"I'm sure you'd know this if you paid attention in history, Ace, but the mines used to be flourishing! Miners left and right came here, it only made sense that some miners would set up a place to live nearby it." Said Deuce in a matter-of-fact way.

"Geez, what a show off, am I right?" Ace merely whispered to you. You made no comment on that.

Instead, you coughed into your hand to clear up your throat, and said, "Aside from the dusty furniture and table that takes up more than half of this house, I don't see anything else in here that is important."

Deuce let out a sigh, "[name] is right. Let's explore further up the hill."

Luckily, the mines weren't too far away from the house, when the four of you approached closer to the mines, the more hesitation was laced onto all of your faces, including Deuce who was so eager to get here in the first place.

You all stood outside of the mines, if this wasn't the most ominous thing you've ever seen, then you didn't know what was. It was more alarming than the library on the night you arrived to this school.

Grim looked at the mines before looking at you three, as if to really confirm what you all were looking at, "You're telling me.. We have to go into THAT? No way! I'm not dying today!"

You spoke up after Grim, "I gotta agree with Grim here. No sane and smart person would step near the inside of these mines. This place can't be normal, even by magical standards."
