It was weird..

A shiver had rushed its way down your back, you thought it was because of the fact that it was oh so cold in your dorm, but you had a feeling it was otherwise.

You couldn't shake the feeling of something negative. You didn't know what this negative factor was, but it felt like that was the only word to describe it. To put it in more detail, you had this overwhelming feeling that something bad was going to happen to you.

You amongst others as well, but what was it? If you were being honest, you had this feeling back at the cafeteria but assumed it wasn't anything to pay attention to so you never really mentioned it.

But now it was more severe, seriously.. What is it? Why do you feel this way? Aren't you just trying to enjoy playing card games with Ace, Deuce and Grim?

It's probably nothing, maybe the ghosts are perhaps using whatever ghost magic to make you feel paranoid. After all, they do enjoy playing pranks.

Perhaps some nice sleep could fix this unrelenting feeling? It's quite late and you're all tired. And if you're lucky, maybe you'll be rewarded with some sweet dreams to ease your mind. That does sound lovely, right?

"Is this a continuation of my last dream or something?"

You were back at the same spot your dream last took place in, the Maze of Roses was the name that fit the area best in your opinion.

But except of seeing the sight of the girl and the three life sized cards happily painting away and maybe even singing songs, the sight that awaited you was quite polar opposite.

The girl and the three cards instead of painting, were both kneeling on the floor in fear, however, the girl looked at the figure standing before her in utter awh while the cards were aggressively shaking and fearing for their lives.

And who was causing this reaction? None other than the Queen of Hearts.

Weird, why were you dreaming of her? You've only seen her once and that was when you and Grim along with Ace were talking about her deeds. Did she seriously leave a bigger impression on your mind than you thought?

The Queen in all her might had reached out and pulled out an entire rose tree, and was holding it as if it were a baseball bat, ready to swing and crush the ones kneeling.

The Queen seemed mad beyond reasoning, as her voice boomed out, "HOW DARE YOU RUIN MY PRECIOUS ROSES!! Who did this?! Speak up now!"

The 3 of Clubs was the first to speak out as their voice trembled, "Ah! Please no my Queen! It was the Ace, my Queen! They are the ones who had your roses laced!"

She then turned her focus onto the Ace of Clubs, as if in any moment, she would crush them without hesitation, "So it was you!"

In response, the Ace couldn't help but shiver even more under the Queen's ruthless stare, they knew their life would be snapped off at any given moment so now was the time more than ever to start begging like their life depended on it, which it did, "Please, my Queen! I beg my life not to be at due, so I beg you to listen for when I say that it was the 2!"

Once again, the Queen had again shifted her focus from the Ace onto the 2 of Clubs, "Very well then! It was you!"

Just like with the Ace, the 2 of Clubs had starting pleading for their life as they almost felt themselves about to cry, "I beg you my Queen, please do not crush me with that tree! I would do anything to be released and free, so I urge you to listen when I say it was the 3!"
