When you got to your class and sat down, Ace, Deuce and Grim all shot you a look, obviously wanting to know what happened between you and Lilia, but you didn't even know how to word it.

You gave the simple lie, "He just wanted to know about how a magicless person got into this school, that's all."

This simple lie was enough to put their curiosity at bay, all seemingly agreeing that wanting to speak to you in private about a topic like that was weird, to which you gave a small laugh as you agreed.

It was weird though, you wanted to dismiss what Lilia said as him just being weird, but you couldn't deny that you were extremely curious about what auras were. You were kinda tempted to just ditch chestnut picking so you could look for answers.

But at the same time, you'd feel a little guilty about leaving the three of your companions, so maybe that study time could wait for later. Still, it was the only thing you could really think about until school ended.

After classes had reached their fateful conclusion, it wasn't before long until Grim was tugging at your pants for you to hurry to pick chestnuts, as you scolded Grim for pulling on you like that. The sight was indeed something to behold as Ace and Deuce stared at you two.

Behind the school laid a bunch of trees with a bunch of fruits glowing and hanging off their branches, and naturally, chestnut trees had their own respective section in the forest.

Grim lit up at the sight of the forest, it seemed like the ultimate snack supply to him, "Woah! There's so many chestnuts here! I bet if we can get all them off the trees, we'll have enough tarts to last us a whole lifetime! It's like an all you can eat out here, hehehe!"

Grim then took the trees, reaching his paw out to the lowest branch, "Lets hurry and get them all—Ouch!!"

You rushed your way over to Grim to immediately inspect his paw, as the demonic cat cried about how the thorns dugged into his paw when he reached out to it.

Deuce examined the trees in slight worry, "I doubt we'll be able to hold all these chestnuts in our arms, I think it's best if we get some tools."

Scanning the area, Ace then noticed a nearby glasshouse as he pointed his finger at it, "Oh! Look over there, we can find some materials at the Botanical Garden."

You and Deuce both nodded at Ace as you held a dejected Grim in your arms who was still pouting over the thorn.. Dramatic.

You all made your way to the garden, and you took in all the beautiful trees and flowers. Vegetables and fruits were also being grown here as well, the vibrant and beautiful colors were such a nice eye candy.

You were pretty sure you saw some flowers that you've never seen before in your life as well.

Ace's eyes lit up as he took the inside of the garden all in, "Woah, this place looks even more bigger on the inside."

But at how huge the inside was only made Deuce grow a little nervous, "I think it's best if we split up, how about.. I check west, and [name] along with Grim will check more inner parts of the place? Ace, uhh.. I don't know if you can do much.."

To which, Deuce got a very irritated look from Ace as he then said, "Screw you, dude! I'm gonna go over there." Said the red head as he pointed at a random direction and off he went,

"Ugh, that guy.. Anyways, [name], I'll see you later?" Deuce gave you a smile as he then waved off, you waved back before then taking in more of your surroundings, ...It feels like this is gonna take a while.
