The first morning of their vacation dawned bright and sunny, casting a warm, golden glow across the room. Miranda woke up to the sound of birds chirping outside their window and the gentle rustling of palm trees in the breeze. She stretched and smiled, feeling refreshed and excited for the day ahead.

Turning her head, Miranda saw that Ben was still asleep, his chest rising and falling rhythmically with each breath.

Deciding to let him sleep a bit longer, Miranda quietly got out of bed and tiptoed to the bathroom to freshen up. As she brushed her teeth and washed her face, she couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for this much-needed vacation.

After getting ready for the day, Miranda made her way back to the bedroom and started to gather her things for their morning outing. She picked out a casual outfit suitable for a day at the beach—shorts, a tank top, and a light cover-up paired with flip-flops and a sun hat.

As she was finishing up, she heard Ben stir in bed, followed by a yawn and a stretch. "Morning, Miranda," he mumbled, rubbing his eyes as he sat up in bed.

"Good morning, Ben," Miranda replied, her eyes twinkling with excitement. "Ready for our first full day of vacation?"

Ben grinned, his eyes brightening at the mention of the day's plans. "Absolutely. I can't wait to hit the beach and soak up some sun."

Miranda grinned, feeling a surge of excitement at the thought of their day ahead. "Sounds like a plan. But first, how about we grab some breakfast? I heard they have a fantastic buffet downstairs."

Ben's stomach rumbled at the mention of food, and he laughed. "Sounds perfect. Let's go fuel up for the day."

Ben stretched and yawned, feeling refreshed after a restful night's sleep. With a smile, he swung his legs over the edge of the bed and sat up, ready to start the day.

Today was their first full day of vacation, and Ben was eager to make the most of it. He could already hear the gentle sound of waves crashing in the distance, beckoning him to the beach.

Rummaging through his suitcase, Ben pulled out a pair of swim trunks, a comfortable T-shirt, and a pair of flip-flops. He quickly got dressed, his excitement building with each passing moment.

Glancing over at Miranda, who was already dressed and ready to go, Ben grinned. "Alright, let's head out."

As Ben and Miranda walked into the resort's buffet area, the enticing aroma of freshly baked pastries, sizzling bacon, and brewing coffee greeted them, making their mouths water in anticipation. The buffet spread was impressive, offering a variety of delicious options to kickstart their day.

Grabbing a plate, Ben loaded up on some scrambled eggs, bacon, and fresh fruit, while Miranda opted for a yogurt parfait, a croissant, and some mixed berries. They also poured themselves some freshly squeezed orange juice and grabbed a couple of cups of coffee to go. As they found a table and settled in to enjoy their breakfast, Ben couldn't help but notice Tucker and Jessica across the room. They were also grabbing breakfast, seemingly engrossed in their own conversation.

Spotting them, Miranda gave Ben a subtle nod, acknowledging their presence without making it awkward.

"So, after breakfast, what's the plan? Beach volleyball, snorkeling, or just lounging by the water?" Ben smiled

"I plan on reading a book" She shrugged

"You can read at home. We're on vacation." He shook his head "You're going to do fun beach activities otherwise why did you come?"

"So Tucker couldn't enjoy my vacation." She replied eating a piece of bacon

Ben reached over and took the bacon out of her hand and bit it himself " So then by that logic, you have to enjoy your vacation."
