Rob and I patched things up. The next couple of days flew by, it seemed like the amount of people he wanted me to meet was never going to end. After eating at several barbecues and restaurants over just a couple of days, I threw myself down on the nearest bed to catch a quick nap. Which of course was short lived.

"Hey Dylan?" My eyes fluttered open to the sound of Rob's older brother's voice. Gordie stood in the door way.

"Hmm" I closed my eyes hoping he would realize what I was trying to do and leave.

"Rob's in the living room with some more aunts and uncles for you to meet." Gordie chuckled.

"Uhhhhh" I let out a sigh and swung my legs over the bed to head out of the bedroom, my eyes still shut.

"Dylan your going to have to open your eyes."

"Maybe I can pass as blind. Then I don't have too. And could actually get some sleep."

Gordie laughed. "Probably not."

"You're probably right. Alright let's go" as we headed down the hallway Gordie gave me the run down on the aunts and uncles that I would meet this round.

All of us sat in the living room for what seemed like forever telling stories, when I realized it was 9:30. Great another bed time missed...

"Hey! You know what we should do?" One of Rob's cousins sat up, everyone turned to him. "We should have a movie night! Like we used too, when we were younger!" Everyone nodded, then out of nowhere a massive verbal war broke out, over what movie we show watch.

"It should be Lord of the Rings!"

"No, Star Wars."

"Whatever Sandlot!"

"No no no, We Are Marshal!" This went on for a good five minutes. Until Rob perked up and said....

"C'mon it should be Mean Girls, it's one of my favorites."

I turned to Rob. "Really? I've never seen Mean Girls." Just like that the chaos in the room stopped, everyone went dead silent.

"What?" Someone whispered.

"I have never seen it." I repeated.

"Well that settles it." Rob got up and got the movie. With in 20 minutes a backyard movie theater was set up and ready to go. Pillows and blankets were thrown throughout the yard with families on each one. Rob led me to one towards the middle.

"This is ours." We both laid down on the blanket to watch the movie, it was both peaceful and romantic.

Until all of Rob's brothers found the blanket and decided to lay on it too.

Well, I saw at least part of Mean Girls.
