I walked into the elevator, I could hear Zoe racing down the hallway to me, I clicked the button and the doors slid shut. I didn't want to be with anyone, Rob could have just lost everything, the guilt stabbed at my heart. My phone started to vibrate I quickly reached into my pocket and shut it off. I didn't even want to talk to anyone. When I got out side I hailed a taxi and went to the hotel.

Returning to the room I grabbed the only thing I could think of. My running shoes. The thing that was truly how Rob and I met. I slipped on some workout clothes and with the shoes headed to the lobby. The TVs in the lobby were all on the news, every single tv had the hit. The moment Rob went down and was carted off the field. I couldn't even look. I tighten the laces on my shoes and headed out the door.

I ran, and ran, and ran. Until I physically couldn't even breathe, then I stopped. I didn't know how far is come, or how far I could go. I was on a little walking path trail thing. Under one of the big trees sat a bench. I walked over and collapsed onto it, tears pouring out of my eyes. I sat like that for several minutes, and then I realized me sitting here isn't doing Rob any good. He needed someone to be strong and encourage him, and I was going to be that person for him. I stood up from the bench and started to walk back the way I came.

By the time I got back to the hotel it was close to 9:30 pm. I looked like a complete and utter hot mess. I made my way to the elevator and then to the hotel room. As I entered the room no one was there. Everything, of mine, was exactly the way I left it. No one must have noticed I had even left, but now is not a time for me. So I decided to jump in the shower and then head to bed. I grabbed my phone and turned it on. As it turned on it rang like crazy. 213 texts and 79 missed calls and 75 voicemails. Mostly from Zoe but there were some from Chris, Diane, Glenn, Kennedy.

I listened to the voicemails. "DYLAN WHERE ARE YOU?" "HELLLLLOOO?" "DYLAN I WILL CALL THE COPS...." I decided I should call her.

"Hello? Zoe?"
"OH MY FREAKIN GOSH DYLAN CAMBRIA RODRIGUEZ!! WHERE ARE YOU???"
"In the room....."

Just like that the phone call stopped. All of a sudden I could hear Zoe coming up the hall and foot steps following. She burst threw the doors followed by Chris and Glenn. and immediately started her "Dylan you can't just leave" speech but at the end she pulled me into a hug which turned into a group hug.
