Returning back to Arizona was good. Rob and I only took a couple of days to get back to our normal schedules. But something was off.....like way off. Zoe wasn't truly around a whole lot. I watched Zoe walk off to parties, but not with Chris.
"Zoe, what's going on with you?" I gingerly touched her hand. She immediately started smiling. Not a smile I'd seen.
"Dylan! Jakob moved to Arizona! He's changed!" She quickly grabbed her bag and left the dorm. I couldn't believe it. Jakob. The same boy who cheated on her in highschool....she was seeing again.
The next couple of weeks big changes started happening. Rob decided he wanted to enter the NFL draft, and I couldn't be happier, I'd stand by him the whole way. On the other hand, I started not seeing Zoe. Like ever. She was hanging out with Jakob. She even picked up her stuff and moved in to the apartment next to his. So Kennedy moved in to the dorm with me.
Then, around midnight, Rob, Kennedy, Kennedy's boyfriend, and I were returning from a movie when we passed by the campus apartments when I looked out and saw Zoe standing on the sidewalk. Crying.
