Shopping Spree

I put my phone back on charging and decided to take a look around outside until the girl; Vanessa came. I was about to work on that thought when there was a knock at the door.

"C-Come in," I said trying not to sound scared and soon afterwards, the door opened. A girl stepped in with long red hair, a little to the orange side.

She had a nose ring which shone in the light coming from the window and when she smiled, a cute dimple appeared on one of her cheeks.

"Hey, Luna! The Alpha must've told you about me. I am Vanessa," she said as she walked towards me and stretched her hand out to me. I hesitated before shaking it and she beamed at me.

'Talk about enthusiasm,' Liz said to which I shushed her.
"Y-Yes, he d-did, and, no n-need to u-use formalities w-with me, m-my name is I-Isabelle," I said with a guarded smile and she smiled back.

"As you wish, Luna-I mean, Isabelle," she said as she grinned at me before grabbing my hand and pulling me out the door.

On our way to the car, we bumped into Drake whose eyes lit up when they met mine.

"Luna, hey! Nice to see you again. Where are you off to?" Drake said as he looked at me with curious eyes.

"W-We are going sh-shopping since I n-need new c-clothes," I told him with slight hesitation before wringing my hands together and looking down.

'You need to stop looking down, Iz, you are a Luna, for god's sake!' I ignored Liz and continued to listen to what Drake was saying.

"Can I come with you?" Drake said with bright eyes and a huge grin which seemed like it would split his face into two.

"Nope, you can't. Besides, don't you have any work to do? Are you slacking again?" Vanessa spoke up for the first time since we bumped into Drake.

I liked Drake and wanted him to tag along if he could, but if he had work, then going without him would be fine.

"What do you take me for, huh? I have done all of my work, really," ok, that did not sound promising. Even I could tell that he was lying.

Vanessa narrowed her eyes at him and he refused to meet her eyes. She sighed before rubbing her temples like he gave her a headache.

"I-It's fine, D-Drake, you can g-go next time. Y-You should g-go and finish y-your work," I said to which Vanessa smirked at Drake and Drake's face fell before he nodded.

I felt kinda bad but he needed to get his work done so he doesn't get punished. Ethan seemed like a good Alpha but who knows what he did if someone didn't do their share of work on time.

Alpha Pedro used to whip the person who left even a single chore undone.

An involuntary shudder ran down my spine and I hugged myself as Vanessa grabbed the keys from the hook.

When we stepped out, there was a man standing to the side, seemingly waiting for someone. Just as we stepped out, he approached us and when he reached us, he bowed.

I felt really uncomfortable but didn't say anything. He had to do it since I was his Luna but I hadn't even done anything to deserve such respect.

"Luna, Beta Vanessa," he said and Vanessa nodded, so I did the same.

"Thank you for driving us Frank," Vanessa said as she handed him the keys and he smiled before starting to walk.

"It's ok. Besides, we don't want any damage to come to our houses," Frank said as he glanced at Vanessa and Vanessa blushed before playfully growling at him.

I felt lost since I didn't know what they were talking about so I kept my mouth shut.

"Ok, where to first?" Vanessa said as she glanced around the mall and I just shrugged.
