POV
SARA-MIA CHIN || 22"Asiereee a time fi school inuh and I got work"I called out, my voice echoing through the house as I frantically searched for Asiere's missing shoe.
"Yes, mom! "came his little voice from somewhere in the house, a hint of mischief dancing in his tone.
I finally found the missing shoe tucked under the couch and hurriedly handed it to him as he came bounding towards me.
"There, mom, I'm done," he declared proudly, slipping his foot into the shoe with practiced ease.
I had get him to school and get to the salon early today.
My heart swelled with pride as I looked at him. My baby was growing up so fast. It felt like just yesterday that I was holding him in my arms for the first time, tears of joy streaming down my face as I welcomed him into this world.
I couldn't help but snap a quick picture of him before we headed out the door. "Asiere, smile for mommy," I said, trying to coax a grin out of him.
This child has no manners he just looked at me from head to toe before putting his hand in his pocket.
But instead of a smile, he just looked at me from head to toe before nonchalantly putting his hand in his pocket. "Renk like him dead fada," I muttered under my breath.
"Alright, Arii baby, get in the car," I said, ushering him towards the car

The drive to Asiere's school was filled with chatter and laughter as he excitedly told me about his plans for the day. Despite the early hour, his enthusiasm was contagious, and I couldn't help but smile as I listened to him talk.
He is normally quiet and when he laughs and talks this much I enjoy the moment while it lasts.
As we pulled up to the school gates, I leaned over to give him a quick kiss on the cheek. "Be good my baby," I said while he exited the car and I watched as I walked through the gates of his school.
