It's been 5 days now and I'm feeling better. I wanna go home I hate hospitals. Lifting my head, I saw Ms. Murry a short lightskin nurse that has been giving me my medications and seeing to it that I'm getting better.

" Good morning little miss mackerel" I returned a Good morning and we both laughed at the name. She started calling me that name ever since she asked what was used to hit me in my head giving me a minor concussion.

She checked my vitals and she said they were okay. She told me to sit certain positions to see if I still feel dizzy.

" Everything looks fine so you can be discharged today Sara-Mia" I smiled "Is anyone gonna come get you?"

Well, I could've call Alex but he's not talking to me

You think he would still talk to you even when yuh share spit wid yuh ex infront a di man face?

Yes because if him like mi that much he wouldn't make this such a big deal

Touch yuh head caz is like the mackerel lick out yuh sense dem

"Yes, I'll call my driver" she smiled at me and made her way to a next patient.

I took up my phone and called Patrick. While on the call, Patrick asked why didn't I call him back to pick me up from PriceSmart the other day. I told him what happened and he was upset about the whole situation and told me that he would be outside to pick me up soon . Telling him thanks I ended the call and made my way outside to wait for him.

After sitting on a bench outside for a few minutes I saw Patrick's car. The car came stopping right Infront of the check I was sitting on.

I entered the vehicle and greeted Patrick telling him to take me home

Not long after I was now home. I realized that I haven't seen my key since the day of the fight

Shit can things get any worse

Standing at the grill on the verge of tears, looking down I spot a small yellow envelope well hidden in the flowerpot that was on the veranda right beside the grill. I pushed my hand inside taking out the envelope.

A wah this?

I don't know but let's find out

I opened the envelope and saw my key.

Thank god

I opened the grill and went inside but was puzzled by how it reached here

My tummy rolled indicating that I was hungry and nuh  grocery nuh deh yah .

Woulda nyam di mackerel weh dem use lick mi right now

Right !

Entering the kitchen opening the cupboards I was surprised by the stock of goods inside . Checking the fridge I saw that it was also stocked.
