In this part I will write about some key information from Aurora's second week:

Aurora has had an amazing time on Baileys service, she loved the adrenaline that rushed through her body when she was under pressure in the ER, she thought quick and worked efficiently. Well those were Baileys, thoughts of her, which she said to both Aurora and the chief; she was impressed to say the least, because Aurora had never really seen this kind of trauma in the ER's in England but she still knew exactly what she was doing and instructed her interns where they needed to be. She taught them skills, techniques every chance she got, she let them assist in surgeries and her interns were in love, and there were many interns who were jealous and they just observed if they were lucky.

The ER was busy one day and extra hands were needed, so Cristina came to help. She bought her interns with her who whispered with one another about Aurora's interns, more specifically the fact that Aurora taught her interns better; Cristina shut them up and gave them a stare before turning to her fellow resident.

After a stressful ER experience , it dies down. Cristina begins to walk over to Aurora who is sat cross legged in a chair, finishing some charting on her recent patients. She takes o moment and rubs her eyes to try to focus but it's been a long day and thankful it was almost over. The blonde looks up and sees Cristina staring "you need something?" She announce when Cristina pauses.

"My interns talk about you a lot, apparently they are jealous of your interns."

The blonde gives her a look as she has no idea why that was said.

"I've seen how you work, you are stern with them but also teach them, I mean I don't know why they are jealous, I obviously teach mine too. You might be good but I'm better"

"Mmhhm." She looks back to her charts.

"Me and Meredith are getting drinks tonight, join us." She says before walking off again before Aurora can even say anything.

Walking into Joes that night after getting changed, Aurora sees her fellow residents sat at the bar.

The two turn to look at Aurora "Long day?" Meredith asks her and she nods in response "Want a drink? We are doing shots." Cristina announces implying the blonde does one with them.

"I shouldn't.." she begins in response before being interrupted by Cristina "Come on, just a few. You look like you need it." She looks her up and down.

"Thank you." the blonde replies with sarcasm and rolls her eyes "Just a few." They both smile in response.

"One more shot please Joe."  Meredith declares before continuing "So, do you see anything like what you see here in hospitals in England?"

"No, never. Extreme traumas were rare and when in the ER there was never that much pressure."

"How do you do it?" Cristina adds to chip in to the conversation.

"Do what?"

"Know what to do, run traumas with such speed?"

"I work well under pressure I guess, I tried to gain knowledge on extreme traumas and cases before coming her. I wanted to be prepared." She replies with a smile and she leaves both residents surprised.

"You're good." Cristina announces in a way to say that she almost doesn't want to admit it. She likes being the best.

"I know." The blonde says in response while laughing with the two.

As the night continues, the trio recline into an evening of desperately needed drinking and shots, telling stories of their past and favorite patients and stories at the hospital, while letting the alchohol take its course and deepen their bonds as they enjoy the night at its prime. They let go of their worries and sink into each others company, it was a night they all needed.

From the other side of the bar, Derek and Mark are sat having drinks and Aurora is caught in Mark's gaze as she takes shots and laughs with her fellow residents. He looks her up and down, taking the time to admire her curves before Derek kicks him under the table which takes him out of his trance. "Stop it!" Derek angrily declares while Mark pretends to look confused before Derek continues "stop looking at her with those eyes." Mark rolls his eyes in response because he won't listen to his friend.

Aurora announces  to the other residents that she will be leaving because she wasn't s to be prepared for the next  day and she doesn't want to drink anymore as she will driving home. They agree and let her leave after they had an excellent night together at the bar. Just as she is about to leave she feels someone's stare on her, she turns and notices him, notices Mark and it's as if time has stopped. They maintain eye contact for a few seconds but it feels like hours, it feels as if  it is only them in the room. She begins to walk over to him, he notices and they smile each other, he hopes she sits with them but she changes her mind. She breaks the eye contact, looks to the ground and walks away, exiting the bar. Aurora let's her fears of a new relationship due to her past get in the way of her potential happiness with the sexy attending, she is fragile and doesn't want to admit it. She's ashamed that her fears have gotten the best of her and Marks smile quickly faded as he watched her leave, he should have gone after her, he thought but it was too late. She was gone.

Till the end of that week, Aurora was in the ER dealing with traumas and she was very busy, therefore it left her with little time to socialise and she had barely seen mark since the night at the bar. She sometimes was caught in his path but she was too busy charting and dealing with patients to notice. He was upset and she felt guilty, ashamed but her now best friend Callie was there to support her.

The next part will be the end of the second week and her last day on Dr Bailey's service.
