It's Halloween, Meredith experienced a nightmare about her near death experience and decides to blame it on her mother's ashes which leads to her removing them from her room and putting them in a bag.

Later that morning, Aurora walks into the residency lounge where she is greeted by them discussing Meredith's mother, they all turn to Aurora with questioning looks.

"What's going on?" She asks the room.

Cristina answers for them "Meredith bought her mum into work in a bag." Aurora looks at them with a shocked expression.

Meredith continues from Cristina "She was haunting me, I had to get her out my closet."

Alex decides to join the discussion "Now she is haunting us all."

"Well, happy Halloween to you too." Aurora replies giving Meredith a questioning look as if to ask if she's okay.

"I'm putting her to rest." Before Aurora has the opportunity to response, happy Sydney jumps into the conversation "Meredith is cleansing. In tribal cultures when one wants to cleanse ones past, one cuts of all of one's hair and buries it in the earth. You might try that too."

Before they have a chance to protest or question Sydney, Callie and Dr Bailey walk in. "Ok listen up. Today is a holiday which means the pit will be overrun. You've got the usual drunken stupidity." Callie begins them Bailey takes over "Then you have Seattle's annual chainsaw pumpkin carving contest. I love this city."

Callie takes over again "stay on your toes. Stay on top of your interns, ok?"

"So we should round before heading to the pit or." Izzie asks before abruptly being interrupted by the chief resident "Yeah, you should direct your questions to Dr Bailey, Stevens."

Surprised by this, Cristina perks up "Oh, we're directing our questions to Dr Bailey?" She asks.

"Oh, not you. Just Stevens." Callie responds

Bailey, confused questions her "Why is Stevens directing her questions to Dr Bailey?"

"Because she's been sleeping with my husband."

All the residents are shocked and suddenly look up, looking between Callie and Izzie. Bailey sends her resident a stern look and izzie avoids their gaze.

"Anyway, have a good day." Callie declares before exiting and izzie exits quickly after.

Aurora chases after Callie "Callie, you showed her. Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I just do not want to have to deal with her today."

"I get that, anyway, got to run. I'll see you at lunch?"

"Of course." Callie says before they go their separate ways.

Lexie Grey is talking to the daughter of a patient who is waiting on a heart transplant who is complaining that her father has not yet received his medication. Then George hears the conversation and jumps in to help Lexie out and tells her that Dr Yang lied about her needing a costume.

Back with Aurora, she has been having a bit more of a difficult time daily and it has shown, to Callie and Dr Bailey especially but she still is amazing with dealing with patients and directing her interns. She is now with her interns instructing them. "I am proud of you all for dealing so well with the traumas we have seen in the pit and ER this week. Today, Harper you are with Dr Torres, Dane, pit and Banks you are with me. Everyone okay?" They all nod in response "Don't forget to ask questions, we are here to help you learn. Now, Go." Harper leaves hurriedly to find Dr Torres and Christian waits down the corridor for his resident "Dane, everything okay?"
