Part 5- Start of a new week

Season 4 episode 4

Today, Aurora is on Dr Baileys service, this means she'll be in the clinic and the er mostly with time to watch some other surgery's. The night before, George admitted to Callie that he slept with Izzy and despite already knowing she was still broken by it being true. She eventually said she forgave him, knowing she didn't really but she took vows with George. George sends the morning searching for izzie and derek wants Meredith to go away with him.

"Rounds let's go." Aurora announces to her interns.

After rounds the resident continues "Harper, you are with me. Banks, pit and Dane, Dr Sloan has requested you." She pauses before adding "Go, now."

"Dane, show him skill, you can do this."

The blonde spots Callie in the distance and she looks different, upset so of course Aurora was going to ask.

"Callie." She looks at her but Callie is somewhere else "calliope, are you okay?"

"Yeah, yeah."

"Callie, tell me what's happened. Use your words."

She drags the blonde into a supply closet "My marriage is falling apart. George slept with Izzie, he told me. And I forgave him"

Her voice softens "Callie. I'm so sorry. Do you actually forgive him? I mean what he did was completely out of line."

"I don't think I do. It's just I took vows. Till death do us part."

"I get that. Just take some time to think about how you really feel. I'm always going to be right here for you. Okay?"

"Okay. Thanks Aura. Anyway, enough about me. You and Mark, you are getting close."

"Oh, shut up." Aurora announces in a joking way, slightly blushing.

They both walk out the supply closet and walk to where they need to go and Callie goes to get changed and Aurora begins to walk to the clinic to meet Bailey when a certain talk attending comes up behind her.

"Jesus, Mark. You scared me." She says as she turns to face him,looking slightly up to match his eye sight. "Ooooo coffee.":

"This is not for you, I need this."

"Oh come on, I think I need it more than you do, I'm in the clinic and ER today, I need the boost." She looks at Mark for a moment "just a sip at least"

"Okay but just a sip." He smiles as she grabs the coffee out his hand and takes a sip. He keeps his eyes on her as they start walking together and he gets his coffee back.

She catches his eyes on her "Bone dry cappuccino, good choice. Thank you by the way." She says as she locks eyes with him just for a moment. He walks towards the clinic with her.

"I didn't realise you were in the clinic and ER today."

"Yep, Baileys service this week."

"It's gonna be weird without you."

"You can say you'll miss me. I get it, it's difficult being this amazing. At least you have my intern this week."

"It seems difficult. And yes, I wanted to see his skill."

"Anyway, I don't want to be late for Bailey."

"Yeah of course, go." His eyes stay attached to her as she wanders of to the clinic. Does he find her attractive? He shouldn't, he can't. She is Callies friend and Derek told him not to, he can't hurt Derek more.

"Dr Bailey, I'm on your service this week. What can I do for you?" Aurora asks the older resident

"Perfect timing, I was just about to a consultant, join me Quinn." Bailey announces and Aurora quickly follows behind her.
